Where to learn the business concepts of the budet and planning

Hello,

I have a good knowledge in development, But I need to learn more about the business, How the financial planning work and how the process work because most of my clients don't know exactly what to do and they always need my suggestions. Where should I start to learn more about finance and the fields that the tm1 used in?

Sorry, but there are no shortcuts for learning about planning and forecasting from a business perspective. A college degree in Accounting wouldn't hurt but there is no substitute for experience. Have you tried searching for online learning around planning and forecasting?

Thanks for your answer brother, Actually I've started learning from some business channels on youtube, But I'm not finding the direct knowledge I need yet :), I'm seeking for more knowledge about automating the budget and forecasting process.

Thanks for the plug! I didn't cover budgeting and forecasting in there - maybe I should start collecting ideas for a follow up...
