TM1 10.2.2 FP7 IF2 / Excel crashing by perspectives

Post by WILDE »

Please see below 2 issues I currently face:

ISSUE 1:

When I install Tm1 10.2.2 FP7 IF2 TM1 web is not able to see the servers, but architect etc works fine.. I downloaded the software from https://www-945.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/

The server was previously running FP7 so it was just the IF2 install being run on a Windows 2012 R2 server 64bit.

Following the problem I have then attempted a full clear down of the environment – uninstall / deleting all files etc and proceeded to install TM1 10.2.2, followed by FP7 then IF2 and get the same problem. The IF2 installation documentation is also clearly wrong as it states to install IF1 with no mention of installing IF2. I have not installed IF1 though.

I have also followed the advice by IBM in the following tech note but still have the same problem.
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.w ... wg21978399 (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.w ... wg21978399)

Has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions?

ISSUE 2:

The reason I want to make sure I am on the latest fix pack is because I keep getting excel crashing in a RDS farm in Office 2016 64bit with the following module faulting. We have only just moved from MO 2013 32bit to MO 2016 64bit....

Faulting module name: tm1api.dll, version: 10.2.20709.89, time stamp: 0x5a2c46b3
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x0000000000025e50
Faulting process id: 0x18b8
Faulting application start time: 0x01d3a580630b51be
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16\EXCEL.EXE
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\IBM\cognos\tm1_64\bin64\tm1api.dll
Report Id: bb00a9ca-119b-11e8-90f4-00155d204c22

Id be interested to hear any advice or similar issues.

The FP seemed to get resolved by re applying the SSL certificates as in the attached ticket - I found this in another post...
