We have IBM Planning Analytics 2.0 installed on the servers. in the .cfg files there is a parameter called -
IndexStoreDirectory=E:\TM1Data\finance_test\Index. Which creates a folder named index.
The index folder contains .BM files like ( }ClientGroups.cub.bm, Commitments Detail.cub.bm and so on). These files get updated every time when you save data or restart the services also the folder size keeps on increasing with the save data and restart of services. If the parameter is commented out in .cfg file it stops updating and is works as in previous versions (less time to save data and restart time is reduced). With the parameter on It takes huge amount of time to save data and restart the server time (as all the .BM files get updated) .Is it a good idea to comment out the parameter? Will there be any impact on the system? Also there is not much in the
IBM documentation - https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgece ... ctory.html
