Hi Team,

I am encountering an issue when updating security rights within TM1 Contributor (TM1 10.2.2).

The Problem:

Application is not visible to Non admin user on contributor.

Analysis:

1.Application is getting validated successfully in Performance modeler.
2. Right are getting assigned successfully on contributor.
3. Any user assignment changes to Cognos BI Groups are updating successfully in Tm1 ‘}ClientGroups.cub’.
4. Application is not visible to non-admin user. ( }tp related control objects are not getting updated’
a. Security is not getting assigned to ‘}ElementSecurity_}tp_application.cub
(Non admin user can view the Application after updating the security manually for a single non admin user.)
b. Security is not getting assigned to }ElementSecurity_}tp_application_permission.cub.
c. Security is not getting assigned to }ElementSecurity_tp_<Approver hierarchy dimension>.cub
d.Security is not getting assigned to }CubeSecurity.cub and }dimensionSecurity.cub

Using ‘IntegratedSecurityMode=5’ and earlier the securities were applied successfully on Tm1 objects through contributor for phase 1.

It's strange that a topic with such a good problem description is still not answered

Try to "redeploy" contributor: stop appserver, delete all "<server name="s in fpmsvc_config.xml, start appserver, open server:port/pmpsvc/ page and add your server with 5th integratedsecurity.
