Hello all,
I just installed TM1 Architect and Perspectives on a new laptop.
Architect works fine, but Excel crashes as soon as I start Perspectives. I don't even see a workbook or sheet.
Excel version: 1710 (build 8625.2121 click to run)
Planning Analytics: last version 2.0.3
There are no Excel addins active (or installed) on the PC.
Starting Excel without Perspectives works fine.
The XLSTART folder is empty. There is no Personal.XLSB workbook.
An earlier version of TM1 (an early Planning Analytics 2.0 version) gives the same issue.
Macro's are allowed in Excel.
Excel is installed in English with default settings.
The Windows Event viewer does not show anything related to TM1, and in fact it gives a generic message.
Does anyone have a clue where I could look to solve the issue ?
Thanks a lot,
Wim

Wim, did you run the installer by right-click and then 'Run as administrator'?

Hello Pandinus,
Yes I did, because I entered a user with admin rights to do the installation.
Strange thing is, now I am working on the server and Perspectives crashes there as well. Before noon, it still worked.
Guess it's Friday

Re: Installation of TM1 Perspectives: Excel crash
Hi Wim,
Just updated to same release, no issues on my side-I do however load Perspectives via a macro as I switch between 10.2.2 and PAL.
Not sure if that would make any difference in behaviour i.e. Add-in vs Open after launching Excel.
