Hi,
We are using Security Mode=5, in a TM1 (Planning Analytics) model, and we need to automate the process of importing the Active Directory Groups in TM1. The issue I am facing is, that CAMID of Active Directory Groups is in a format CAMID("AD:g:cbfe2e706f26ef439470661399a7a8c3").
I have a CSV file with the list of Active Directory Group Names to be imported, but I don't have their respective CAMIDs (or GUID), and the AddGroup TI function required the CAMID as argument, otherwise, the group created will be just a regular TM1 Group.
I was hoping there is a hidden feature / hidden function that can accept the Active Directory Display Name as argument
Thanks

Re: AddGroup for Active Directory Groups
There is no easy way to grab CAMID unless you look at Cognos BI SDK to do it for you https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/data ... ge565.html.
If it is not massive, then manually copy them from cognos server.
