Consolidation values by User Access

Post by Chuks »

Hi All,

Im wondering if there is a way to display the value of Consolidated elements to be based on the access a specific user has in Tm1 web,

Example;
Capture.JPG
Capture.JPG (39.11 KiB) Viewed 2662 times
The user has access only to first 4 projects of Grp_A (A1 to A4) , so the view is as in the screen shot below,
Capture2.JPG
Capture2.JPG (26.52 KiB) Viewed 2662 times
Now can we dynamically show total of these projects which the user has access to instead of the actual totals.

Please let me know,

Thanks

Hello!
  • Create alternative hierarchies for each user group
  • Add a dimension which describes user group (e.g. Department?)
  • Write Excel formula (SUM)

Hi,

Thanks for the reply!

We currently have around 100 users in the system with already belonging to specific group. But their access to this dimension ( Project as given in example) varies user to user and is hard to define groups and hierarchies for that.

is there anyother way to fix this?

Thanks,

Then yours is 3rd option: You can write the excel SUM (..) formula, so it will calculate only the available projects
