Hi,
We see an issue in PAW, where workbooks no longer open after we make a change in a dimension.
I attached a Word document with some explanations and screenshots to illustrate.
Has anyone seen this, or knows a probable cause/solution?
All ideas are welcome.
Greetz,
Kris

Re: PAW workbooks stop working after change in dimension
This is all guesswork, your are probably best raising this with IBM support.
Can you say a bit more about the data grid, is it a saved view that you are just opening in PAW or a saved layout on saved PAW sheet or a saved view on a PAW sheet?
Are there any (new style) hierarchies on the dimension concerned? Does the saved view reference the same named hierarchy or a different one? If you change a dimension in perspective you are only editing the same named hierarchy.
Assume you can't reproduce unless you change the dimension?
Clearly what you have done should work, however you are mixing the old front end and the new.
Consider editing the dimension in PAW directly (right click on the dimension when in edit mode) or make the change programmatically in a TI so see if the error still occurs.
Don't have much else on this I'm afraid.
