I am using a SUBNM to create a picklist in a template. The subset being used has an MDX expression. Users receive a pesky warning message
"The Subset was created using an expression. Modifying the subset will delete the expression and convert the subset into a static subset."
There is a checkbox that the user can check to not display the dialog again. Is there anyway to turn off the message so the user does not see the dialog to begin with? This message causes panic for my users.
SUBNM pick list, subset with MDX, warning message

Re: SUBNM pick list, subset with MDX, warning message
Hello
If the user has "ShowDynamicSubsetWarning = F" in the tm1p.ini file, he will not be asked anymore.

Ooh that's a good one to add to the bag of tricks. This completely pointless error message has always annoyed the heck out of me.Wim Gielis wrote:Hello

Re: SUBNM pick list, subset with MDX, warning message
Hi,
sorry for taking this thread but I have the similiar Problem but in TM1Web. I know how to supress the message in Perspectives/Architect and found a couple ofquestions how to supress it in TM1Web but unfortunately no answer.
Is it really not possible to suppress it?
Thanks in advance,
Thomas

I know it's bad behaviour but I really need to know if it is really not possible to suppress this warning in TM1Web.
