We are talking to a customer who is interested in migrating their onpremise TM1 to TM1 SaaS. (btw nothing to do with TM1 just their strategy is to close existing outsourced data centre and move everything to cloud!)
Under the SaaS model, the majority of users will access TM1 using either CAFÉ or TM1 web and their preference is to maintain an Excel interface ( ie CAFÉ) rather than web. They have existing Perspectives reports which we think are based on standard slices and are not very complex (subject to review).
I believe the only TM1\Excel functions supported under CAFÉ are DBR, DBRW, DBRA, SUBNM, VIEW and DBSW ( subject to checking)
We have done some limited internal testing opening existing Perspectives reports with CAFÉ (TM1 10.2.2 FP3) and this seems to work OK. I just wondered if anyone else has experience of doing this in a production scenario and, if so, can you share your experiences?

Just be careful with DBRA, it can be a bit flakey, we've noticed that it doesn't always work, though a DBRW on the Attribute Cube works fine.

Off on a slight tangent Stephen, but please could you consider posting some of your experiences with deploying TM1 on the Cloud.
I posted some notes but am still looking for some answers, especially around timelines and costs and how "overage" is measured and billed. Thank you.

FYI - If you are using DBRA in CAFE, it seems it only likes the native (?) element, if you use any alias it returns blank.
(This is using 10.2.2 FP6)
