Disable Server shutdown in Server Manager

Post by Memo66 »

Hi,

i have a question about the Server Manager.
Is there any chance to disable the function in the Server Manager to Shut Down the Server.

We have a PowerShell Script to do that and it is protocolt in a cube and in the ServerLog but if anybody shuts down the Server with the Server Manager, i can't see that anywhere. In the tm1server.log is just a entry, that the Server is shut down.

Thanks ;)

Only users in the Admin security group should be able to use the Server Manager option - it will be greyed out for everyone else. Presumably if you trust your admins enough to give them admin rights, then you trust them enough not to shut down the server manually?

I just have read, that it is maybe possible to show in the tm1server.log that der Server was shut down by the ServerManager.
But you have to add some parameters in the tm1s-log.properties file.
Does anybody have any experience with the tm1s-log.properties file?
