Re: How you would explain what is TM1 to your mom ?
I build lots of rubik's cubes in a company so that people can play with. That's my job.

Re: PA 2.07 - }ClientProperties cube
Thanks, Wim.
I tested it as well in Perspectives but not working. Do you need to reboot the server after this change?
What does the TM1 Perspectives say after disabling? How about PAfe and PAW?

That is interesting to know. However, this property doesn't seem to work properly at least in 2.0.9.1.

Hi, do you want to share your MDX first and how did you display the MDX view in PAW?

Re: Security on Alternate Hierarchy?
Thanks, yes, I have tried and TM1 actually created that security cube for me but still doesn't work. According to IBM's reply, it hasn't been implemented yet but on their roadmap.

Security on Alternate Hierarchy?
I can see the alternate hierarchy is in }DimensionSecurity cube. I thought I can put some securities on them but apparently it doesn't work in PAW. Users with NONE access can still see and use the hierarchies normally. As long as the user has READ access on dimension, then he can use alternate hiera...

Re: Design Mode
Thanks, Steve. After several testing, I just realized this function doesn't work with just only one cell's copying and pasting. If more than one cells, it works as expected.

Design Mode
Hi, I am trying to test the design mode in Custom Report or Dynamic Report. But neither of them work as to the descriptions from the document. Whenever I copy and past any static value into cells with DBRW formulas inside it already in the reports, it always replace it with those static values. It d...

Re: UNDEFVALs in PAX vs Websheets
PAL 2.0.9.1 has no issue. I use same example you did and the web didn't show 0 for null values and it is just blanks. 0 is shown as 0 anyway. BTW, we enabled the new cell formatting although I don't think it is relevant. https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSD29G_2.0.0/com.ibm.swg.ba.cogn...

Re: User Login - Perspectives or PAx or PAW or Contributor
Not really, all you have is tm1login.log file which captures all logins from all client software.
The only thing I did is dig up the log file from PAW to know the client is on that platform.

Re: PAW Time Series Line Chart with Separate Year and Month Dimensions
Hi, I don't think you do it simply in PAW.
1. Possible to create another cube with just one time dimension and use it in PAW?
2. Export data into PowerBI via tm1py and present from there?

I don't want to waste more time on this. IBM doesn't pay me to fix bugs. I am rolling back to v46.

Re: We can’t load the visualization, because the associated data set isn’t available?
What happens if you use Internet Explorer 11 over the VPN ? And is the version of Chrome you are using the supported one for PAW and for your VPN ? IE couldn't show any graph either but not showing this error, just blanks. Version 84.0.4147.105 (Official Build) (64-bit) should be the latest one. Fi...

Re: We can’t load the visualization, because the associated data set isn’t available?
It is still the same in v54. So, as long as I clear all the cache from the Chrome and reconnect PAW to refresh all reports. All graphs in the reports won't be shown. It shows either this error or blank at all. But if I kept reloading book or refreshing Chrome for a couple of times. Then all graphs s...
