Re: CAFE - Users unable to log off
Not sure what changed, but we are no longer seeing the obsolete threads clear out of TM1 Top, they are now persistant until I clear them by booting off the client from TM1 from an Admin login.

Re: Cafe extension cannot be activated in Excel
Yes, I started a thread with a similar issue. In the Add-ins screen in Excel, select "Disabled Items" from the Manage drop down box. You should see the CAFE related item in there. I'm not sure why it does this, I can only assume it due to a dirty uninstall of a previous instance of CAFE (N...

Re: Do You Automate Or Extend TM1? (Poll and discussion)
I picked no, reason being I think our set up is rather basic in function (though maybe not in complexity) and we haven't come across a situation to warrant it. As much as I'd like to dabble in the VBA & RESTful API, it pretty much comes back to if it ain't broke, don't fix it. On top of this, we...

Just confirming that you have been able to walk through the macro step by step and it works? (i.e. Hitting F8 though the complete sub?)
We had issues with users changing our XLSM & XLSX files back to XLS which would crash our VBA, not sure if that is your issue?

Re: CAFE under 10.2.2 FP3
Our Account list have a lot of concatenations of Account + other data to allow us as much flexibility as possible with our models. I rejigged the MDX to filter for an attribute that will scrub a lot of the "noise" from the list and it's now close to 12,000 lines. Note that we are getting t...

Re: Create new rule for m_dor_output
Hi Vivian, How to create a cube is quite a basic function, I'd suggest you go through some more of the IBM materials on TM1 to get a bit more familiar with it. You can also use the Search in the top Right of this forum or Google search "TM1 create cube" - there are plenty or articles &...

I'm assuming your using "Print Report" function?
Have you tried to run the report for the 3rd & 4th report manually?

I can't help but notice you have no Period Dimension in your GLTrueUp2 Cube?
Not sure how your going to be able to do your Period calculations without a period dimension unless your doing something in TI or GLTrueUp2 is not the actual Cube for which the Rule applies.

Re: CAFE under 10.2.2 FP3
From my testing yesterday, here are the latest observations: The MDX used: TM1SORT(HIERARCHIZE(TM1FILTERBYLEVEL(TM1SUBSETALL([Account]) , 0)) , ASC) The result of this particular MDX will pull a list of close to 200,000 Accounts from our GL. Populating a List with a Dynamic Subset Using the "Li...

Re: CAFE - Users unable to log off
With the new FP3 change, the first time a user logs out from CAFE, the instance is remove almost instantly. If they then try to log back in, 2 instance are created. Heaven forbit they get a sticky "login" screen (i.e. remains after pressing submit) and press "Login" a few more ti...

CAFE under 10.2.2 FP3
Hi All,
Is anyone else getting performance issues with CAFE when pulling anything that contains a Dynamic Subset?
Never had this prior this current fix pack, now if the View or List object contains a Dynamic Subset it either times out or takes a extraordinaryly long time to retreive data.

Rest API sessions are managed by the tm1s.cfg param HTTPSessionTimeoutMinutes. If you have anyone that is decent at HTML, PHP,JSP and the like, you can leverage the REST API and build your own Web page with as much fancy graphics as your Developer is able to design (or leverage UI's already available such as Bootstrap & Telerik). I've been working on & off trying to ge...

We did have a reletively stable package when it was in Dev, though I can't remember which version it was, likely to be 1 or 2 FP's behind I think.
