Re: SSL breaks on Nov 24
I patched up a CX 9.5 today. All components are working, Xcelerator as well as Web (.NET based). I believe your setup is a CX 10.1 as 10.2.2 is based on TM1 Enterprise image and no longer using CX manager etc. Manual steps for 10.1 should be the same as 9.5 as both TM1Web are .NET based. I suspect t...

Re: TM1 Web 10.2 Integrated Login Kerberos setup
You can specify multiple TM1Web servers on a single Cognos BI Server. Just separate each server with a comma.

Re: SSL breaks on Nov 24
For those who are still on 9.4 (for some reason), the new SSL certs issued by IBM will not work as in 9.4 the private key is encrypted using different cipher. Only way is to use custom certs. Just in case any of you still hanging on to 9.4. In here http://ibm.biz/TM1SSLCertificate There is a sectio...

Re: SSL breaks on Nov 24
I am simulating the D-day by switching the clock ahead to 2017 and this is what we will be seeing (?) in the admin host debug log. Admin server will fail to start. Can anyone confirm this is the right steps to verify ? 5272 DEBUG 2017-09-29 00:58:55,708 TM1.Event mt_SetEvent: Set event 0x00000000000...

Re: TM1Web 10.2.2 FP4 using SSL with default installed cert
If you do not have a JAVA_HOME define, you shouldn't encountered this issue. Else just look under IBM provided JRE and locate the mentioned jar and copy that to where you define the JAVA_HOME.
If possible, don't define any JAVA_HOME and leave that to the default setup by the TM1 installer.

Re: SSL breaks on Nov 24
Yes. We have tested it. All services have to be stopped before V2 certs configuration. And of course Admin server has to be up first before all TM1 instances once V2 certs are done. The client side will be client by client.

Re: TM1 Web 10.2 Integrated Login Kerberos setup
In your BI install, did you include Content Database ? Suggest you include this with the default content database before you switch to other RDBMS. We have gone through many CAM (with AD) integration with 10.2.2 and enabling TM1 Application Servers with 3rd party SSL certs. Not exactly smooth nor ea...

Re: SSL breaks on Nov 24
You can only set to use ONLY SSL client (False) or both Non-SSL and SSL (True).
Doesn't seems to have a way to disable SSL totally.
At the moment installing V2 certs seems to be the only way before a new 1024 certs are made available via fix.

Re: SSL breaks on Nov 24
On second thought UseSSL=F may not work as Admin server may not able to function due to expired cert.

Is the workbook/worksheet protected? If so remove the protection and see if that resolved the issue.
There is an issue with protected worksheet with Perspective and Excel.

Re: TM1 - Public URL
I think your problem is the redirecting URL as highlighted: ../planning.html&ps= http%3A%2F%2Fwebserver%3A9510 &pg=%2Fapplications.jsp" which translate to http://webserver:9510 From the public it will not be able to reach this URL. This is specified in the planning.html under Cognos BI.

Re: TM1Web 10.2.2 FP4 using SSL with default installed cert
Found the problem after 1 week of testing and researching. I can confirm that 10.2.2 FP4 break the Application Server SSL and this is consistent after testing with 3 newly installed servers. I updated it with FP5 and this seems to resolve the application server startup problem but it hit another Jav...

TM1Web 10.2.2 FP4 using SSL with default installed cert
Has anyone managed to setup TM1Web 10.2.2 (FP4) with SSL using default installed cert. IBM has a short article on how to enable TM1Web with SSL with external certs but there isn't much discussion on using the default installed certs. I did a java keystore check and confirm the default certs are inst...
