Re: ODBC Driver installation
Thanks for the reply. I found out that the Oracle driver is already installed and working for BI. Now what we don't know is whether we can mirror the same process and Oracle driver (32 bit I was told) for TM1, is there any configuration procedure for TM1 to engage the Oracle driver like BI? or simpl...

ODBC Driver installation
Hi, A consultant created an instance in our Dev TM1 that pulls data from data warehouse using TI a while ago. Now he's not with us, we want to create the same instance in other environment. In Dev, we install both TM1 and BI on the same server. We are not sure if we can just install the same driver ...

Chore scheduling
TM1 10.2
I have 8 chores that runs around the clock every 20 min. About 20 TI processes in total.
I would like to add 3 TI processes that run only once per day during the night. I wonder if there's any way that I can stop the 8 chores for a 20 min. window then re-activate it.

Of course I tried to searching the forum before posting. Unfortunately "backward compatibility" wasn't on my mind at all.

Version control - 10.2.2 Perspectives accessing 10.2 TM1 server
A few users in our company need 64-bit Excel, so we need to install 10.2.2 Perspectives.
Will 10.2.2 Perspectives connect to 10.2 TM1 server? Is version control the only thing that we need to be concern of from the perspective of TM1 server configuration?
Thanks.
Kenneth

Re: TM1 Application - make object public
Thanks! I'll try test it out with giving a specific group admin. rights to certain folders in Applications.

TM1 Application - make object public
Hi,
I wonder whether there's a way for a non-admin. to make an application object public after uploading it into Applications. Since the object by default is Private and even admin. can't see it to make it public.
Thanks.
Kenneth

Perspectives: Short cut in Applications fail for some users
Hi, I have tried to use search function before I post my question here but it results in a connection error message. I notice for some of my clients, even though they are given the rights to shortcuts created in Applications, when they click to activate it they will be re-directed to the parent fold...

Perspectives Applications folder name corruption
I've had this issue twice over the last couple days. I created private folders in "Applications" in TM1 Perspectives. The name of these folders started with "My...". The name will suddenly become gibberish; the folder and links within become un-editable: can't be deleted or renam...

Re: User access after removal from user group
Yes we use CAM.
And my problem is resolved. I think it's a timing issue and the cache didn't get refreshed on the AD group server. Once the AD group member list got refreshed I got the access I desired.
Thanks!

User access after removal from user group [SOLVED]
I have myself another account which put myself on the same level as department user (we call them the "dummy" account). We have integrated log in and we add users to different user groups to limit their access to their own departments. I have added my dummy user account to multiple user gr...

Sliced data to reveal lock status in Excel
After I sliced data into Excel, is there anyway that I can display the locked (gray) cells different from the unlocked (white) cells?
