Re: Excel workbook crashes TM1
Last time I looked most users don't use word as a TM1 front end. I do use it but nobody complains to me about it.

Re: The Sound Of No Hands Clapping
We will be wearing orange and blue. Obviously being UK football fans we will also be looking to fight anybody wearing either red an grey or blue only. (Again apologies to anybody outside of the know football (I refuse to call it soccer as nobody who knows anything about it calls it that swear word) ...

Re: Excel workbook crashes TM1
Everybody points the finger at TM1 because they have never had it before and it "seems" to crash excel more. What the average user never considers is that excel probably has more known bugs than any other software out there.

I'll tell what's her name that she is being reffered to on a daily basis!! 8-) (Sam will never come to any conference. London is long way for me to come. At least there is a chance that I will pick up something useful while being bored. Sam would just be bored.) As for the bar, that sounds great. Th...

Re: Citrix Undefined Issue
Hi Olivier,
Unfortunatley I am no Citirx expert. I am aware that there are security settings that control how applications interact with the user desktop but I'm not sure exactly where to find them. Maybe we have a citrix expert out ther that can help?
Jim.

Re: The Sound Of No Hands Clapping
Hopefully IBM will lead the way on this one. If you look at the web site for their main conferance they have technical break out rooms where you can go to have your questions answered. The UK one is being held in an IBM building so I am hoping that the IBM influence (No I can't beleive I am saying i...

Re: Sharing views among non-admin users
Alan, I think the point you have raised is an interesting one. If there is a function to copy views added then on the options list you have users, groups or everyone then it kind fits all.

If you have version 9 installed the file you are looking for is called the operations guide. If you have version 8 or below it is called the administration guide.

Re: Server crash due to subset corruption
Hello again. When I say logging I mean server logging. If you set this lowest level every calculation and action is traced. It as near to a server dump as you can get, Jim. PS. As I said earlier, have a quick look through operations manual. (Spelt badly and mis-typed of course) It goes through all t...
