Is there anything else that might cause this issue?jim wood wrote: It shouldn't be, but I wouldn't ignore it. A rule is, as I mentioned, just text at the end of the day, but PM builds link and all that kind of good stuff so it may handle the rule differently

Re: Perfromance Modeler lags when editing rule
Well you wouldn't get it in architect as your'e opening a text document. It'd have to be huge to give you some lag. As PM it kind of makes sense. It needs to refresh the whole file rather than just what's on display. I would check your network connection between the server and your machine. It coul...

Perfromance Modeler lags when editing rule
Hi guys, I'm experiencing lags when editing a rule in PM. Every single character has a delay of few seconds (i.e. when I type "STET" I need to wait approx 10s to see the result in the rule). The issue appears only on quite large rules (more than 1000 lines). When I try to edit the same rul...

How to customize TM1
Hello all,
I would like to customize the look of TM1, i.e. text on top of application list (default is "IBM Cognos TM1 Applications"), logo in top right corner (currently IBM) etc.
Is there any way how to do this?
BR

"Bedrock.Cube.Data.Export" does not export all measures
Hi guys, I'm wondering if anybody has experienced the same strange behavior as I did just few minutes ago... I'm using Bedrock library and in this case I need to export data for specific version. So I used this: ExecuteProcess('Bedrock.Cube.Data.Export', 'pCube','plan', 'pView','', 'pFilter','versio...

ConsolidateChildren and spreading from nodes
Hi all,
I have discovered that when using ConsolidateChildren to consolidate hierarchies I'm unable to spread data from nodes to children.
Is there any way how to combine these two methods?
Thanks in advance!

Re: How to filter #NA (i.e. UNDEF) values in TI
It's getting more and more weird... I have traced the calculation up to the source and it should be zero (it is consolidated year value, months are linked to another cube with no data in months -> but months in target cube contain 4,9e-324, therefore yearly consolidated value also has non-zero value...

Re: How to filter #NA (i.e. UNDEF) values in TI
Hmmm, still not solved... :-/ I have replaced slash with backslash to avoid dividing by zero. But I have discovered that TM1 uses #NA also for infinity, for example dividing by number which is almost zero (3e-323 in my case). Does anyone know how to deal with this? I need to copy this cell from one ...

Re: How to filter #NA (i.e. UNDEF) values in TI
That's it! Thanks a lot!If you make sure you use \ rather than / in your rules it solves the division by zero problem you're experiencing in that the rule engine will give 0 rather than then cell error.

Re: How to filter #NA (i.e. UNDEF) values in TI
I'm talking about division by zero etc. This gives you "NaN" values (which I translate as #NA).

How to filter #NA (i.e. UNDEF) values in TI
Hi guys,
I'm trying to filter out #NA values in TI process - I don't want them to be copied from one cube to another one.
I have tried this:
IF (NVALUE <> UNDEF)
...
But this is not working. :-/
Could anyone help me with this issue?

Disable rules in cube

So in both cubes the rules are generated automatically according to N-level expressions in the measures dim. I would lik...

Re: Import security from file
Security in TM1 is stored in cubes with the names }CubeSecurity, }DimensionSecurity and }ElementSecurity_NameOfDimension. You can update the data in these cubes with a TI process the same as you can update any other cube. Just make sure you do a SecurityRefresh command afterwards, as well as design...

Import security from file
Hi all, we are using Cognos 8 security in our TM1 environment. There are tens of user classes in CAM which are updated on daily base. It will be time consuming to create and update security assignments manually, therefore we want to load security assignments to TM1 automatically from file instead. I...

Prev and Next attributes not working
Hi all, I have following rules to calculate previous and next year values: ['Revenues','Last Year']=N:DB('Cube',ATTRS('Year',!Year,'Prev'),'This Year'); ['Revenues','Next Year']=N:DB('Cube',ATTRS('Year',!Year,'Next'),'This Year'); Attributes are populated properly, but it is not working. Any idea? T...
