You are not serious, are you?kpk wrote: BTW: do you have LoggingDirectory= line in the tm1s.cfg file?
The size of the model information can be misleading if your model is logging in the model directory.
You can separate them with the LoggingDirectory parameter.

Re: Use Action Button to Capture Date/Time?
Hi
Yes, once you have selected the process that needs to be executed by the Action Button, you should be able to pick up the parameters that get sent into the process from XL cells.

Re: Change file extension to XLSX instead of XLS for slices
Hi
Have you checked the following option in XL 2010?
File - Options - Save - Save Files in this format
What is it set to? What is it if you have the TM1 add-in disabled? Is it changed if you load the add-in?

Yes, I guess clarification on exactly where, what cannot be saved would be helpful.

Re: Change file extension to XLSX instead of XLS for slices
Was a bit surprised by your post because I have never noticed this in any combination of 9.4/2007 or 9.5.2/2007 or 2010. And I just tried that with 9.5.2 and Office 2010 and I don't see why should not be able to save the file with the xlsx extension. Works for me.

Re: Copy Process Error - Could not Intialize the process
Hi Generally I would avoid dynamic subsets in your copy process, but that is (probably) not why you get your error. I guess your ExecuteProcess line either has a wrong process or parameter name in it. Why don't you have a look at copy processes at http://www.BedrockTM1.org, you might be able to use ...

Re: Integrated Login
Hi Didn't have to use Kerberos in a while but from memory I think it can happen that the way you have to set the domain in the UniqueID can differ between the two security packages. For example using NTLM it would simply be johnsmith@company but with Kerberos it would be johnsmith@us.ad.company (or ...

Hi
A 'while loop' in Turbo Integrator? How many levels are in the hierarchy?
Have you considered the ELISANC function?

Report? More like a data dump that best would be done with TI rather than an active form.

Re: Clearing Out Rules during Run Time
Hi Alex The way you describe it should work and I don't know of another way in TI (at least) that would clear the rule. Just a few thoughts: Do you have a ProcessBreak; somewhere before the RuleLoadFromFile that might get hit. Does the 'E:\Empty Rule.txt' exist in that path? Sorry, it's the old &quo...

Re: Active Form TM1RPTVIEW and DBRW Problem
Hi One way would be to delete the TM1RPTTITLE reference for you version dimension in the TM1RPTVIEW function. It might look something like this: =TM1RPTVIEW("server:cube:1", 0, TM1RPTTITLE("server:dim1",$C$11), TM1RPTTITLE("server:dim2",$C$12), TM1RPTTITLE("server:...

Re: How to write feeders for the below rules
Hi
Maybe start by
1. reading some of the other posts on Feeders as this could/should be quite an easy one
2. posting a rule that actually would compile, or does it really?
3. after reading other posts on feeders posting the required information so others are able to help you
Cheers

Re: VIEWCONSTRUCT
Hi AFAIK, if you do a VIEWCONSTRUCT on a view that has one element out of each dimension, in your case the 'All...' consolidations form each dimension, what will be put into the cache is one value. Just as you would see in it the cube view. My understanding is that using a consolidation (and only th...

Re: Filter with dimension not exist in a cube
Sorry, but most of your statements/questions I either don't really understand or am not sure whether they are a question or a statement. To me your post basically reads: I have lots of dimensions in a model, that I have not created, but some are not used in a cube where I would expect them to be use...

Re: Suggestion on Model Design
Hi Agree with tomok. Either you need to look at a total/aggregation/consolidation of something or you don't. If you do then create the consolidation. Anyhow in HR models it is a lot of times better to have Departments, Reporting Lines and the like in a separate dimension, as employees move between o...

Re: FEEDERS HELP
Hi I am a bit confused by the dimension and element names as you list 'Working Forecast' as dimension name and as element name in a (I guess the scenario) dimension. Once Planning Hierarchy is an Element and in the rule it is a dimension name. They also do not seem to be in order. So my first questi...
