Re: Best Practice for Views created within TI Process
One of the reason we create the Views in Prolog and delete them in Epilog is that when you will run the TI in future you will get the most updated Views. e.g. if there is any change in the dimension you will be able to see that.

Check if you have .NET Framework 4 installed on the computer. If you have it installed then uninstall it. Then you can install .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. If you already have the .NET 3.5 installed then in Control Panel (Add/Remove Programs) you can select REPAIR. This step will repair your .NET 3.5 ins...

Re: Deleting Cubes
I would go with the second option and Delete the cube within the Server Explorer. By doing this it will also delete the other files from the data directory which are related to the cube. CAUTION: To be on safer side, make sure to take a backup before you delete any cube. This will help in case you w...

One thing which I have noticed in your Rules is that the FEEDSTRING should be on the first line of the Rules file. So it should appear before SKIPCHECK.

Re: Good Old TM1 Web
According to the IBM Software requirement .NET Framework version 4 is not supported and it will cause problems (even with the TM1Excel service).
You might want to remove it and install correct version 3.5 SP1 and configure TM1Web properties to use the correct version.

Are you on Win 2008 or Win 2008 R2? As far as I know only R2 is supported with Tm1.
Have you installed appropriate .NET framework before you installed TM1Web? I would check in IIS that if TM1Web is using the correct .NET Framework. If not you would have to use the aspnet_regiis command to install it.

I dont think that there is any built-in option to turn off the Spreading bar. It will appear on the screen until you exit from the Data Entry mode.

Re: EMail Message Log: if process throws error
You can write a Process to monitor the status of the last process executed. In that process you can use the ProcessReturnCode to get status of the most recently executed process. Later you can write the error to a File and then email the file. You will also have to put the monitor process in a chore...

Re: Schedule Time at Chores
Yes there is a way. Chores are saved a *.CHO files. If you open the *.CHO file in a Text Editor. Line 2 of this file will give you the GMT Date/Time. Line 3 will tell you information about the Frequency of the chore. Once you can get this information you can write a routine and display this info in ...
