Depending on where you are at and if you haven't found a workaround yet.
I would export the data from a text file into a csv file with and then load into oracle using SQLLoader or External Tables.
This would be a lot faster in terms of performance then a ODBC load via a TI.

Re: TM1 Web Memory Leak
A quick google search comes up with this. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2556002 The fact that the PMR hasn't been updated and you are on TM1 9.4.1. chances of a resolution are remote. How about a simple .aspx page stopping the TM1Web Service and seeing whether memory increases ? This would isolate...

Highly Speculative but worth a shot !! I am not sure but have a look at this document http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21460595 "Internal testing comparing like tests comparing TM1 9.5.1 to TM1 9.5.2 with PI have shown the TM1 9.5.2 Server to allocate between 10 – 30% more RAM t...

Re: Cube taking a long time to move data
The export to CSV and back in was faster then the original because of locks. More documentation is below. http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/ctm1/v9r5m0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.swg.im.cognos.tm1_op.9.5.2.doc%2Ftm1_op_id7949ViewingandUnderstandingtheTM1TopDisplay_N1.html Have you checked the...

Re: FAP
"Rules - my recollection is that FAP rebuilds its cubes every time it is run. How will that work?" In Controller 8.5.1x onwards FAP is not rebuilt every time. But timestamps slow changing dimensions (SCD) which presents its own sets of challenges. Also it would also be worth considering th...

Re: SQL Query Extract Taking 3 Hours To Load Using TI
TRIM is not a SQL Server Function is it a UDF that you are using ?
How about testing it with a single where clause ? Oracle to SQL server 2008 is not a easy one. Have you created the appropriate indexes ?

Create a Cube that suits your reporting requirements i.e. appropriate dimensions and then use the rules or TI.

Re: TM1 Web Export Speed?
By Chance have you noticed something like R<#> IX<#> W<#> in TM1Top ? This would indicate locking. Have you enabled Parallel Interaction ?
