spread from total to months 1-12 through TI process
Hi, Just wondering if this is the best way to do a process like this ;) I have an numeric attribute Month_Number (1 to 12) for a measures dimension with month elements (has commmentary string element so measure dimension). I use this attribute for even spreading from source cube (Total level/12) to ...

same cube CellGetN for a IF argument and CellPutN
Hi there, I have a 'detailed cube' with a string element in measure dimension - REGION. Within the same cube and measure dimension I have numeric VALUE. A global cube holds region % rates. Region is a dimension for this global cube. A TI Process transforms the VALUE into further detail by multiplyin...

Re: Incorrect Display of Hierarchies in BI from TM1
hi, does this help? Now that the named levels are defined we must create the RefreshMdxHierarchy Turbo Integrator script and then executed it. This script requires a single parameter which informs it of the dimension whose hierarchy must be updated. This however does not affect the method TM1 create...

thanks for reponse.
Going to to TI process as suggested.
Using atttribute flag 1 to 12 instead of dimix for process.
cheers

Rules for Month allocation with start and finish dates
Hi, will try and keep this simple I have a cube that users input values, then can also enter start month and end month (no dimension for months in this cube) This value/12 is allocated to a further cube with an extra month dimension. Also based on start and end month. Trying to find the best, simpli...

Re: Best option for not calculating other versions in cube
thanks for your quick responses After thinking through a bit more, since the live version (current) is always the same and only a single version, I think the following works. Tell me if you think not [] = If( !Version @= 'Current', CONTINUE, STET) ; The maintenance TI process will always source 'cur...

Best option for not calculating other versions in cubes
Hi There, I have intention in 1st few lines of TM1 cube rules to STET versions that are read only, as these are copied from a 'current' version through TI so dont need to be calculated. To do this I can reference the versions: ['version_copy_1'] = N: STET ['version_copy_2'] = N: STET etc But new ver...

create similar dimensions or use subsets?
Hi, 1st question leading me to the rest of the post- Does TM1 performance get affected by multiple hierarchies in a dimension? Have a output cube that requires multiple dimensions (accounts), which is fine. Have an input cube that could use a subset (data entry accounts- approx 80% of total accounts...

Run TI Process from Cognos Portal
We use planning and Tm1, so would like to run a planning publish, then TI process from the Cognos Connection Portal (as a job). This will allow for sequential job processing and easier admin/ integration with BI.
Cant see how yu can run a TI process from Cognos portal - any ideas?
thanks
