Re: TM1 process in chore starts with 2 min delay

Also check the time on the server is the same as the time on the client. I suspect what you are seeing is just a time difference between the client and the server.

Re: Problem after upgrading from TM1 10.2.2 to 10.3

Obviously sounds odd, have you checked if you have a formatting issue? Which client environment are you seeing the issue and what formatting is in place?

If you look in the transaction log what value is being written to the cube?

Re: Child Elements are not visible under consolidations

Hi this is not an issue but expected behaviour. The no-named subset view of a dimension you get when you open the subset editor is the natural underlying order of the dimension, which by default is I think the order in which the elements were added. You can fix the natural order of the dimension in ...

Re: Adding a subset to a dbrw

Isn't this functionality just a hack? There should only be one way to return a number from TM1 and that is via a reference to a dimension member. Otherwise you lose control of what results the system is returning. This is one of the main reasons that companies move from spread sheets to systems, one...

Re: MDX using TI Parameters

Yup, just concatenate the vars into the MDX string

Code: Select all

sMDX='{FILTER({TM1FILTERBYLEVEL(
{TM1SUBSETALL( [Period] )}, 0)},
[Config_JPS].( [Year].[' | sYear |'], [Scenario_Plan].[' | sScenario |'], [Config_Measure].[Source]) > 0 )}'

SubsetCreateByMDX (SubNameSRC, sMDX);

Re: TM1 Turbo Debugger

Hmmm, I suspect that the support person is speaking out of turn here. The TI Debugger was developed by an individual in IBM, not by an external person with a desire to improve our lot. It is also mentioned as a feature in many IBM presentations that I have attended. It's pretty rich to then claim th...

Re: Improve TI process time for cubes with heavy rules

With a ten minute refresh by design your very close to wanting the system "always live" anyway, why use a TI instead of rules? Is the issue with the performance of the TI just the elapsed time or the fact that it is locking? If it always takes 3 minutes to run and is non-locking your data is still u...

Re: Active Form Drill down help

A solution If you gave every element you want visible in the active form an available flag and then put MDX referencing this in the report row formula and disabled drill down in the report row formula then you would get close to this. Report would need to have all rows expanded to the level of inter...

I vaguely remember that this could happen if elements were in more than one consolidation in the dimension.

Also you can just put a number into the cube, this is enough to purge the cache. Unloading the cube is a bit drastic and may break the model if there are feeders.

Re: Create hierarchy by attributes in PA

I'm not convinced you will be able to see the hierarchy in TM1 Web, pretty sure it is only available in PAW and PAX. The "old" clients won't be able to see them, I'm slightly hesitant as I know they refreshed TM1 Web a little in the last release and I have not directly checked. As for your error, su...

Re: TI Process Doubling Elements?

You might want to double check what is happening is not just an issue with the way you are looking at the dimension or give some more detail. You can't have an element in a single consolidation more than once, do you mean that the extant elements exist in their original location and in the CDM one. ...

Re: Copying Data from Source Version to Target Version via TI

Hi Rajesh, You should perhaps try and give some more detail. Best guess is that the view that is being used as the source for the data has been set-up to suppress ruled values (this is what you mean by links?) if un-supress this then you should find the data flows. If this does not work then it is p...

Re: Workspace - Selector Widget Slider Timing

Hi Declan, That widget is really nice but we've not found anyway to control the speed. I don't think putting a "slow" widget on the page would help, I have seen situations where the selector advances before the data refreshes, though this may have been fixed in latter releases. (AmbPin, this thread ...

I'm not sure what Steve means when he says "task manager" inside docker, but if you launch a powershell within the server and type the following:

docker container stats

You will get a live listing of active containers, and their cpu and memory usage.
Thanks, exactly what I meant!
