Re: PAW installation in Centos Linux or Windows Server 2012
Hi folks I changed my TM1 application server gateway URI to : http://server:9910/pmpsvc When I goto http://server:9910/pmpsvc i get a 404 not found error. My C:\Program Files\ibm\cognos\tm1_64\webapps\pmpsvc\WEB-INF\configuration\fpmsvc_config.xml shows the new port config (9910). Meanwhile back in ...

Re: PAW installation in Centos Linux or Windows Server 2012
Did you manage to fix this issue ?. I have the same problem since upgrading to the latest version 2.0.9.3 and PAW SC57 (running on Centos7). The TM1 server application server URI won’t connect despite changing ports from the default 9510. I’ve installed the new spreadsheet services add on the same h...

Re: Error upgrading PAW
Hi Dr Nybble !. I’ve checked the console in virtualbox and nothing obvious in there. The vm image appears to boot fine, no errors showing. IBM discussion forum suggests looking at disk space issues, but not seeing any disk related errors. Have you seen any install & troubleshooting docs or blogs...

Error upgrading PAW
Hi there, I am trying to upgrade my PAW version from v24 to v28 (runner docker & virtualbox in windows). I have extracted the new PAW v28 into a new directory and copied over the old paw.env file to the new install directory. When I try to run start.bat I get an error message start-2017-12-20-16...

Re: Planning Analytics 2.0 Local Workspace boot issues
Hi Dr Nybble (love the name !) I can create a default vm from the quick start terminal so it does suggest that I've no clash with VMware. Interesting though after battling with docker I tried to start a VMware image and it wouldn't start so had to force a reboot, so there is clearly a smash and grab...

Planning Analytics 2.0 Local Workspace boot issues
Hi Folks, Installed the new version today, but hit an issue with getting the workspace layer working. As you know it comes as a docker container, so had to install docker toolkit for windows which comes with a bundle of Oracle VirtualBox (why IBM why ?!?). Has anyone managed to get this bit installe...

Re: IBM Planning Analytics On Prem
Hi Declan, We are waiting for a GA release date for this from IBM. I'm told this will likely be early december. In typical IBM style this time of the year - we wait for the marketing hype from Las Vegas to turn into tangible, downloadable product. Already in the UK there are a couple of IBM launch e...

Re: TM1IPA.DLL is not found ?
Thanks BlackHawk !
The weird thing is that this TM1IPA.DLL (not a mis-spelling of *API.DLL) only occurs against a specific TM1 server, when I try and report against one of the samples it works fine.
I've tried installing a seperate BI server and connecting to that and I get the same error message !.

Hi Declan
TM1 10.2.2 and BI 10.2.2 are both installed on the same server, so are using the same 64bit API.

Re: Unable to start TM1 Perspectives 10.2
Spoken to IBM and they provided me with a version of MSCOMCTL.OCX known to work. Looking at the working version (attached) it is : 6.01.9834 The version that failed to work for me was : 6.00.8862 Attached the new / working OCX file compressed. Kudos to IBM Support here in the UK for a speedy turnaro...
