Re: Action Button
In design mode you can use the 'alt' key to align to rows and/or columns. Click on the sides or corners, press 'alt' and drag with the mouse. This would then lead to worksheets with many columns that are say, 1 column width apart, which you could use to align it how you want. Gives you greater contr...

Re: EXECUTE PROCESS UNABLE TO KICK BATCH FILE FROM TI
Sounds like a security issue with your production domain account user.
had a similar issue on a 2008 enterprise server and the access for a service account. Security access fixed it.

event based scheduling would be good...
i.e. file is copied to Tm1 server, TM1 loads file...
yes there are workarounds but would be great if it was 'inbuilt'.

sitting around 130 kbs then drops down to 60 or 70 kbs...then back up... then down....

Re: TM1 9.5.1 SAP Connector
Hi, Have recently been through the process is dev and you don't need a COGNOS Bi guru as such. A TM1 consultant yes. There are some 'tricks' that the manual's don't provide. Once we get this promoted to production i will have the task of writing BW queries which i will then use to tap bw to get the ...

Re: Use Active Form but found duplicate Hierachy
Hi there, When you save you saved, did you first use the Active form option from the ribbon of "Rebuild Current Book", this will rebuild and redefine the ranges and formula for the Active form. Secondly, there is a hidden sheet called "AR01" which holds the row information, if t...

Re: AsciiOutput: Alternatives via TI
A text file is, by definition, text. There aren't strings and "values", just text characters which any program which reads the file can interpret as values or strings for internal storage. I presume you mean that you don't want quote marks around the values that are output. In that case, ...

AsciiOutput: Alternatives via TI
Hi One and All, I am trying (well i can do it actually!) to extract data from a cube via a TI, but need to data to come out as values and not as strings. Obvioulsy AsciiOutput extracts values as strings, so i was wondering if there are other options? I have looked through the Reference files but wit...

Re: 9.5.2 - New Features and Issues
Someone mentioned that 9.5.2 supports Excel 2010. Is that the case? I couldn't see it in the release notes. I would try it but the last time I tried 2010 with TM1 9.5.1 we had to manually edit the registry to back it out. Yes. 2010 is supported now. 2010 on 32 bit. 64 bit wil be supported later. My...

Thanks for the replies.
Only reason we are investigating it is it is now free with 9.5.1. Otherwise we would stick with our flat file extracts. Hopefully it won't be too slow extracting the data we are after. Time will tell.

TM1 9.5.1 SAP Connector
Hi All, We are exploring using the SAP connector to extract data from SAP and SAP BW. Has anyone else gone through this process? If so, Was there much of a performance impact on the SAP side? Obviously depending on how much data getting pulled back will have an impact! :) What challenges on the syst...

Put an attribute against your measure dimension that identifies it as either 4dp or pc. Next, change the IF(TM1RPTELISCONSOLIDATED... formula in column A (assuming you haven't added any extra columns yourself) to concatenate the attribute on the end. Then insert extra rows as necessary in the forma...

Re: TM1 9.4 FP2 - Servers
Thanks for that Martin.
Reason i am asking is that over time, Tm1 slows down. We are not sure why. We restart our Tm1 instance daily. The server it sits on has not been restarted for around a month so we are looking to see if others have had a similar type of issue with TM1 slowing down over time.

Further to the above;
Can TM1 run on Red Hat Linux Enterprise 5.3
Also is there any known issues with “performance†such as suspected memory leak issues with TM1?

Hi, The company I work for is a 'SAP House' as well. We have just started using TM1 over the past 6 months for budgeting. TM1 9.4 FP2 - Servers
