Potential Change to css
Hi All Just posting this as it's a little out of my comfort zone and hoping someone has a solution, or at least an approach for this. We are using PASS, for one of our PA models and have this model set using native security (mode 1). I am looking for a way to remove or hide the checkbox and "Ch...

Re: PAx and PAW - Not opening "default" View on default
Hi KT13 I seem to remember that this was the case when the conformance of the versions between PAfE and PAW was not close enough, in earlier releases. I have installed PA 2.0.9.9, with PASS 2.0.64, PAfE 2.0.64 and PAW 2.0.64, and we do not see what you are seeing......all "Default" cube vi...

Custom Schematics and SVG Support in Planning Analytics
Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong section of the board......Admins please move if to the appropriate area if this is incorrectly placed. We are investigating the possibility of custom visualisations in PAW using the SVG route and as a result I have added the following to IBMs Big Idea por...

Hi
Are your containers still on the C: ? or are they redirected elsewhere ?
Is the server monitoring software only scanning the C: ? can you put exclusions on it ?

I am assuming you have a local install.
Have you checked what account is being used in the "ApplicationPoolIdentity" within the ICAPool of IIS ?
Once you've changed the account STOP and then START the ICAPool
Does this work ?

Re: Upgrading from TM1 10.2.2 to Planning Analtyics Local ( is PAW required? )
I assume that perspectives and tm1 web will still work as they always have? Any ideas in regards to when perspectives and tm1 web will be shelved in favour of PAX / PAW combo? Zark So we upgraded last year from TM1 10.2 to PA and we completely ditched Perspectives, and went with PAfE. PAW - besides...

Re: PAW installation error unable to copy docker images final step of installation
recreated docker/cofig folders and pointed config to E:Drive. Depending on the version of PAW you were on, and where you're going to, I remembered that there was a change to the contents of the daemon.json file For PAW 2.0.53 or lower, I remember it being like this: { "graph": "e:\\D...

Re: PAW installation error unable to copy docker images final step of installation
OK, so what I did next, when this happened to me was: 1. Stopped the "Docker Engine" service 2. I then had to remove the Windows related files. Note, I couldn't do this fully via Windows because the WindowsFilter folder was being held, so I used the utility that Gtonkin mentioned above 3. ...

Re: PAW installation error unable to copy docker images final step of installation
In Powershell (as ADMIN), what happens when you run
docker ps -a
Do you see any containers ?
If you do, are you able to remove them (once you've stopped PAW) ?

Re: PAW installation error unable to copy docker images final step of installation
Hello Ajay, I did clean up the Programdata/docker still no luck. I get same message. did you install on OS drive itself or did you try to point to different drive in deamon.jason? Regards, Firefly In terms of the VM, we only had a C: and D: We left the PA Servers on D: and left Docker on C: On our ...

Re: PAW installation error unable to copy docker images final step of installation
Are you installing on a VM or Bare Metal server ? And are you upgrading or doing a fresh install ? I had a similar issue when upgrading from v54 to v60 a few weeks ago on a VM and I end up blowing away the %programdata% Docker folder to start it. It was as if something was holding on the \windowsfil...

Re: Syntax in PAW.ps1 to enable View Integration In PAX
Hi So when I did this, I stopped PAW using the scripts/paw.ps1 file, with the command: ./paw.ps1 stop I then made the change in the config/paw.ps1 file, saved the file, and then I restarted PAW, using the scripts/paw.ps1, with the command: ./paw.ps1 This should enable the new change you require HTH ...

New Combination of Area and Line Chart in PAW
We have been finding it impossible to put together a graphic in PAW (v59) that combines the area chart and line graph. Some of our reports need to show, over time, sales by product as an area chart, but we also need a line(s) that represent budget (for all products) running across the top. It would ...

Re: PAW Dashboards Sluggish after upgrade to 2.0.59
So, as promised, a small update. IBM have confirmed that PAW 2.0.60 (on prem) is being released w/c 18th Jan, but unfortunately the APARs listed didn't make it. For anyone interested in the fix list, here it is: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/system/files/inline-files/ibm_fixlist_planning_analyti...

Re: Getting 12 months from any given time
1) Are you wanting the 12th month ? if so why don't you use an attribute on the elements which has the 12th month in it ?
or
2) Are you wanting the all the 12 months ? If so why not have a consolidation of the months which you can reference in an attribute from the selected first month ?

Re: PAW Dashboards Sluggish after upgrade to 2.0.59
Thank you macsir and Elessar for your feedback. So I have spent time looking at logs and events and tried recreating new dashboards, but no success. However, I have ascertained the following APARs: PH32540 LOADING OF AN UPGRADED BOOK IN PA WORKSPACE 2.0.58 TOOK 4 TIMES LONGER AS IN PA WORKSPACE 2.0....

PAW Dashboards Sluggish after upgrade to 2.0.59
Hello, I've just upgraded from PAW 2.0.54 to PAW 2.0.59 (on prem) and noticed that the performance of PAW Dashboards is slower in PAW 2.0.59 We were operating on IE11, and since that is no longer available have to use Chrome or Edge, but with these browsers inherently being faster, I wasn't expectin...

Further update: Got this link: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/apar/PH23436 Looks like this is an issue in versions of PAfE before 2.0.55 (we are on 2.0.54) As a reachout to the forum, if anyone is on 2.0.55 or higher could they confirm that the speed of the copy/paste is near enough instant pleas...

Re: Copy/Paste in PAfE - Excel Not Responding
Thanks for the link Paul, have you used the product to identify issues in your workbooks ? I think that ours fall into the following buckets: a) from excel 2007 days which have continued to be used b) or very "dirty" (definition of which I describe earlier) c) Excel binary Workbooks, eg xl...

Re: Copy/Paste in PAfE - Excel Not Responding
Update: I've spent the day recreating the source workbook for the user, but I did it fully in PAfE and built it "clean", by this I mean removing volatile formulae, links, conditional formatting etc etc. When I did this, the copy/paste from the new source, to the target workbook, was done i...
