Re: TM1 Perspectives support for Office 365 & Excel 2019

Thanks for the info! So it seems like from what you're saying, that TM1 Perspectives can work with O365, even though the official company line from IBM is that "it's tba" (presumably because they see it as a legacy module and want to push PaX instead..??) ...either way, I guess we'll have ...

TM1 Perspectives support for Office 365 & Excel 2019

Hi all, Apologies if this is a dumb question, but wanted to check if anyone has been able to get TM1 Perspectives to work with Office 365 & Excel 2019? i.e. I know the (current) official word from IBM is that Perspectives would only be supported up to XL 2016, however, was curious if anyone was ...

Re: ExecuteCommand on SFTP file transfer

Thanks for the responses... yes, I have run it via direct logon to the server and it works perfectly... might have a look into Powershell, otherwise am not sure what else can be tried :(

ExecuteCommand on SFTP file transfer

Ok, am tearing out my hair on this one (not that I had much in the first place!) - am trying to trigger an SFTP file transfer via TI, but it does not appear to be working. Command1 = 'cmd /c scp2 \\APAUSXXXX\TM1\TempTest\TEST_SFTP_170919-1010.txt ufbXXXX@XXXXX1012.apac.XXXXXXXX.net:/var/app/XXXXXXXX...

Finding out which Views a Subset belongs to?

Hi all,
Hopefully this is a quick one: am trying to delete a subset, but of course the system will not allow it because it is attached to a view...

Besides looking through all the probably cube views, is there a quick way of finding out all the cube views a subset is attached to?

thanks! :)

Re: Formulas in TM1WEB

Hi all, thanks for the feedback - I just read similar on the IBM website http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21959813 If TM1Web is connected to a TM1 Admin Server with both the development and production TM1 models, both TM1USER functions will return a value. ...I guess we'll just have ...

Formulas in TM1WEB

So here's the situation - we have 2 x services on one server: Server = APAUSTMC01 Services = FinUAT1, tm1_dev When logging in via TM1WEB, you of course have to choose the Service that you wish to login to. Despite choosing only 1 service at the login, when we use TM1 formulas in a Websheet, it consi...

CubeProcessFeeders - when to use?

Hi all, Hopefully this should be a quick one... my understanding of the CubeProcessFeeders TI function, is that it only needs to be run when you have a change in the underlying data of a cube with Conditional Feeders. i.e. if the cube has normal feeders, then there is no need to run CubeProcessFeede...

Combining LastPeriods and Cube reference in MDX

Hi all, we currently have 2 x MDX dynamic subsets that (a) extract the current month period and (b) creates a subset of the last 12 months based on what the current month is: (a) {TM1FILTERBYPATTERN( {TM1SUBSETALL( [Period] )}, [z_ctrl_measures].([z_ctrl_measures].[Current Month],[z_String].[String ...

Setting TM1 Password Restrictions

Hi all, Just wondering if it's possible to set TM1 password restrictions, so that when a user sets a password it's compulsory to be: 1. a minimum length 2. must contain a combination of capital and lowercase letters 3. must contain a special character OR 4. must contain a number ...now I know #1 is ...

Alternate ways to create an Element Security cube?

Ok, I feel really dumb for asking this question, but here goes... :) ...for the Account dimension, I am trying to trigger creation of its associated element security cube (i.e. }ElementSecurity_Account) - however, the only way I can do this (from experience), is if I right click on the dimension, Se...

Re: Looking for the perfect General Ledger cube design...

Hi Anu,
no I hadn't received a response... since then I think I've accepted there probably isn't any overall "perfect" GL design... but the GL design should be customized to suit the company that is using it... :)

Re: Using EXPAND function for dynamic code

So this is in the case if you wanted to retrieve a range of variables like "V1", "V2", "V3" etc... ...my issue is if you want to store more complex formula strings i.e. I have multiple import files which have the same field layouts, but depending on the source of the fi...
