Re: PAx - DBRW/DBRS only when requested

I see what you mean, and while I don't like it either, suggested mode is manual calcs.

Re: Dynamic Subset

I would say the problem is with the naming of the element, the parentheses in the name, i.e. ( Cat Sales Inc ) are causing the mdx to break. Can you try the following and see if it works: {TM1FILTERBYLEVEL( {TM1DRILLDOWNMEMBER( {StrToMember("[Account PCR].[DLR_REC_NACD2 DEALER RECEIVABLES - NACD (C...

Re: Dynamic Subset

For me it works when I change the dimension name and the (consolidated) element name. As Edward asked for, what happens if you do this in the Subset Editor of the dimension 'Account PCR' ? Does the consolidated element have level 0 descendants ? Related to this, what happens if you use the undocumen...

Re: PAx - DBRW/DBRS only when requested

In that case, you will link to the cell that is to be sent to TM1. That's not considered nesting.

Thank you.

Question on DBRSs - obviously hard-coding values is not efficient. If my DBRS formulas are referencing another cell for "send" value - is this considered nesting as well?
What is the DBRS function in TM1 ?

Re: Removing TM1 formulae from a sheet

Usually, you should ONLY use: =DBRW( ... ) and =DBR( and that's it. No funny things like: * 1,000 at the end, and no - sign in front, no =DBRW( ... ) + DBRW( ... ) These manipulations should ideally be done in TM1. Does this make life more difficult for your macro ? Maybe yes. But that's about it. U...

Re: How to get - TI parameters labels and inputs on run time

Hello, It does not exist. The only thing you could do is, and it will be not easy and cumbersome too, is set up a cube containing all processes and their parameter names (in the good sequence). Then for your generic code, loop over the parameters of the given process (you can do that in the separate...

Re: Check if the data of two cubes are the same

Then you can: 1) Set up a 2nd cube next to the first cube, with the correct dimensions if they differ from the dimensions in the first cube 2) You have 2 sets of processes, one set to each cube, and with the different logic 3) You run the processes 4) You and some colleagues cancel your plans for th...

Poi, 1) Please create a new topic 2) Please post your actual, real code, which does not suffer from typo's, missing brackets, ... The code should save fine in a process. Show us what is in your variables dimension, Vdimension, and so on. 3) Format your code in tags 4) Please explain in words that we...

Re: Parameter in TI process

Pluto, You ask a lot of questions, but they are all pertinent. Typically such questions are treated in (custom or standard) Turbo Integrator courses. But here's an answer to the questions. Is it complusory to create every dimensions of the Source cube in the VIEW ? ==> Not needed. If you do not limi...

Re: Parameter in TI process

True. Usually you have these parameters:

pSourceYear
pSourcePeriod
pSourceScenario
pSourceVersion
pTargetYear
pTargetPeriod
pTargetScenario
pTargetVersion

If data comes from a csv file, typically the first 4 parameters drop.

Re: Dynamic Subset Expression - EP Access table replication

Try hardcoding:

[2 WIP Hierarchy].CurrentMember

to a valid element and see what happens.
Also, hardcode the [2 Active Projects].CurrentMember to a valid element and test again.
