Re: Error after upgrading to FP1
Hello again,
the solution was quite simple. The installation obviously did not replace the xla. I got it from a kind person from IBM, replaced it myself - et voila - it worked.
It's Version 9.41 FP, yes, not 9.1.4

I already supply all parameters, including the optional Alias-Name. Can't be the reason.

Error after upgrading to FP1
Hello everyone!
I got a strange error after upgrading to FP1. When doubleclicking an Excelcell containing a SUBNM Formula, a messagebox informes me, that the macro "EvaluateArg" cannot be found.
Has anyone stumbled over this and found a solution?
Regards,
Roger

ViewSetSkipCalcs() not working in 9.4 MR1?
Hi everyone, I've got some problems generating a view via TI . Whatever I try, ViewSetSkipCalcs() and ViewSetSkipRuleValues() seems not to work. Any hints on this? I create the view, i open it in the cube viewer and nothing changes? Do things work different in 9.4 ? SubSetCreate('Jahre', '_Jahreskop...

Re: Can I replace a dimension after a cube is created
Why dont you simply delete all elements from the dimension via TI and replace them with the correct hierarchy? if the measures are saved to the same elements, no values are lost.
Take a look at DimensionDeleteAllElements in the Help Files

Elements, Parents and so on..
Good evening everyone from germany,
how do i find out, if an element is child of a parent, regardless of dimension levels? ELISPAR won't do the trick, any suggestions?

Re: Publishing an Excel Spreasheet on TM1Web
Create a Subset via MDX which filters Measure <>0, then use this Subset in a view to snapshot your Excelsheet

Re: How do i find out, what dimension elements are shown ...
Well, i reconsidered completely and found a different solution thanks to a hint given by a colleague why build a view and sift through it, when i can filter the dimension directly via MDX? {FILTER({TM1FILTERBYLEVEL( {TM1SUBSETALL( [Kostenstellen] )}, 0)},[Kosten].([Jahre].[Alle Jahre],[Monate].[Jahr...

Re: How do i find out, what dimension elements are shown ...
Oh, no need to speak german to me, i hope, that my english is not too bad... my solution from above did crash the tm1sd.exe - any ideas why? I'm using 9.4.0.568 What i've done now, is: a) create a second process, which uses the created view as a data source b) included a call to this second process ...

Re: What Elements shown in a view?
Okay...i found a workaround, BUT this crashes the tm1sd.exe - any idea why? Nothing special in the logs... -------------------------- iSubKostenstellen = SubsetGetSize('Kostenstellen', 'N-Elemente'); iSubKostenarten = SubsetGetSize('Kostenarten', 'Abgrenzungskonten'); iSubKosten_Zaehler =1; iSubKont...

How do i find out, what dimension elements are shown ...
...in a view? Hi there, how can i find out, what elements are show in a dimension column in a view? What i've done so far, was to create a view via TI with Zero Suppression turned on. I now want to know what members are show in the dimension column (after zero suppression) to build a new subset of t...

Re: [Help] Building a Subset via MDX in TI?
Thx, but it seems, the problem is using the alias name. if i use a recorded expression in subset editor, it works, if the aliases are activated. the principal name does not contain the searchpattern, so without alias, no members are returned. i don't think it's caused by the german special character...

[Help] Building a Subset via MDX in TI?
Hi there, i'm quite lost with building a subset in a TI Process. What I want to do, is to filter the elements of a dimension called "Kostenstellen" by a pattern ("*Fst*")in an Alias called "Bezeichnung". The Principal Element Name does not contain the string, only the A...
