ProcessExitMinorError

This function seems to be triggered even if there is no error log or error message in the Message Log.
I really just want to know if an error log has been generated for my process.
Am I using the wrong function to determine this?

Re: TM1 Cube Size

We have found this list also includes cubes that are flagged to load on demand.
So they should not be consuming any RAM? Or at least very little?

Re: Unable to Register view

Error: Prolog procedure line (110): Unable to register view "<1>" in cube "<2>" We have found that another process (or even the same process) is currently using that view. For example we have a process that updates our GL cube. At monthend the accountants are loading journals int...

Deleting Obsolete User folders from the data directory

We have a lot of old user folders in our TM1 data directory. They contain private subsets and private cube views. As these users are now obsolete, and have been removed as active users, can we simply delete their folder from this data directory? Do we need to stop the TM1 service, delete the folders...

Client last log-in date

The ability to record the last date a client logged in to TM1 would be very useful from a client/licence management perspective. If this information was recorded in the }ClientProperties cube it would be easy to see who is under utilising (or not using at all) their TM1 account. We could then utilis...

Re: Closing 9.5.2 cube view crashes excel client

Yes I have seen something like this where elements (particularly in the rows) sometimes do not render correctly in cube views. Occassionally it also happened in the subset editor. However I think this also occurred in previous TM1 versions, and from memory I think we narrowed it down to the machine ...

Closing 9.5.2 cube view crashes excel client

Has anyone experienced the excel client crashing upon closing cube views? It can happen on any cube, and is of course intermittent, making the cause harder to define. This happens almost once a day, and is a bit frustrating. We have contacted IBM and logged a job, however the recording of log files,...

What is the purpose of "Quote Char" in TI data source?

I'm trying to understand the purpose of the Quote Char field in a TI process as I have deleted the " character to avoid errors loading some source data containing ". This has worked - no error log was created, but I'm worried I may be creating another problem by doing this. I have little i...

In reply to lotsaram : Yes the control cube contained blank fields, which was my initial concern as they were neither YES or NO.

Re: Cube logging settings different to control cube

Thanks guys, this sounds like all OK as is. Just worth checking when objects don't appear to be in sync.

Cube logging settings different to control cube

I was just reviewing our cube logging and found a discrepancy between what the }CubeProperites cube says is being logged and what the Cube securities assignments dialog box says (when I right click on Cubes - Security Assignments). A number of different cubes seem to be out of sync with no discernab...

Re: What are these blb files all about?

Thanks for the feedback guys, have to agree with David's initial comments. What a crazy idea to set them up this way. Good to know its specific to version 9.1 as we plan to upgrade to 9.5 in the next couple of months, so this issue will go away. No doubt will have some new issues though!

What are these blb files all about?

I have read within the forums that blb files relate to the rules editor formatting. However I think there is more to them than this. I have blb files that relate to cube views, both private: Capex Projects.Budget Load v2.awadallam.blb Capex Projects.Budget Load.awadallam.blb and public views: Virtua...

Removing element level security completely

I would like to remove element level security completely from a dimension.
Can I delete the "}ElementSecurity_fyday.cub" object when the TM1 service is stopped, and then restart without the object?
Is this safe? Is there a better way to do it?
