Re: Incompatibility with Excel 2013 and TM1 10.2

David, I also see this happen occasionally, haven't found out what is the cause of this issue. Close excel and look in the task manager if some instance of Excel isn't left open (if so end it), start excel etc...

Re: Navigating Between Websheets using Sheetnames

Ok , made the assumption that with the value option in the advanced options box you could also refer to a cell, but you can't. The only option is to do it hard-coded as shown below, I think.

Re: Cannot Reuse Approval Hierarchy in Web Apps 10.1

That's correct for 10.1. In 10.2 however you can have multiple plannnings apps on one cube. You need to use the 'Control Dimension' when you are creating the app in perf modeller (Not to confuse withe the }ControlDimensions) Some usefull links; http://blog.tm1tutorials.com/2013/09/17/tm1-10-2-%E2%80...

Re: how to change language of message log

Ran into this problem also. See this link;

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.w ... wg21569351

Haven't found a solution but you can translate the messages with the lng files, look up the message number in your language file and get the english (or other) out of the other one

Re: MDX: Use a Element/member name in a filter

Lotsa, Paul, Tested it with aliases works in the form; {FILTER( {TM1SUBSETALL( [Period] )}, [Period].[Period Name] >= [App Var].([App Var Value].[Value],[App Var Measure].[Current Period]))} But not in; {FILTER( {TM1SUBSETALL( [Period] )}, [Period].CurrentMember.Name >= [App Var].([App Var Value].[V...

Re: MDX: Use a Element/member name in a filter

Paul, that's indeed also an option that I could use, haven't chosen it here because I also need the attribute 'Current Period' in BI. In BI the solution I chose here is the most simple, I Have the following code in BI to get the Current Period Item(Filter([Order Planning].[Period].[Period],caption([...

MDX: Use a Element/member name in a filter

Hello all, I want to use a Element/member name in a filter. For example I Have a dimension period with elements 201301 to 202512. I have an attribute 'Current Period' which is 201311 for all the elements. And now I want to make a MDX statement which gives me back the Current and all the following pe...

Action button size and Regional Settings (Number Format)

Hello All, I have an issue with action buttons in Excel (tm1 10.2 and Excel 2013). When I make a sheet in excel on the server (Regional settings EN, Decimal Symbol [.], Digit Grouping Symbol [,]) and open on a workstation (Regional settings NL, Decimal Symbol [,], Digit Grouping Symbol [.]) the acti...

Re: TI process to cycle and zero out a view?

For sure it is possible to zero out based on some parameters and us a while loop for example. Maybe have a look at the bedrock processes (http://www.bedrocktm1.org/, BEDROCK TI VERSION 2.0) to have a start, since you are somewhat new to Tm1, there you have a standard process to zero out where you ca...

Re: Approval Hierarchy Move From 10.1.1 to 10.2

I have seen this also, You cant have an 'incomplete' Hierarchy anymore as approval hierarchy. For Example, the complete hierarchy; All Salespersons -Sales A -Sales B -Sales C -Sales D If you want the following hierachy as the approval All Salespersons -Sales A -Sales B That is not possible anymore i...

Re: Auto Trigger a command in Rules Editor

1. Create a Cube or dimension where you can store the 'old values', if you do it with a dimension use attributes 2. Create a process that loops throug the }tp_application_state}{[app number]} cube and compare the values with the saved values. If a state is changed you can trigger another process whi...

Re: Auto Trigger a command in Rules Editor

That's an option, you have to store the old values somewhere to track if there are any changes. In the cube }tp_application_state}{[app number]} is more detailed info about app states, I think you'd better look there.

Re: Auto Trigger a command in Rules Editor

I don't think you can trigger a TI process from a rule. What you can do is set some values in a 'variables' cube and you can schedule a chore (periodic, every few minutes) with TI's in it which looks at this variables and takes action based on this variables. There are more than enough examples on t...

Re: Auto Trigger a command in Rules Editor

Hi, which version are you on? I know in 10.2 there is new functionality, like sending e-mail notifications that are workflow driven and you can trigger TI's based on workflow actions. http://blog.tm1tutorials.com/2013/09/20/tm1-10-2-%E2%80%93-enhancement-workflow-can-trigger-processes/ http://pic.dh...
