Re: Dimension Open, Excel 365 (2016) 64 bit and 10.2.2 Automation Error Crash
I replicated this issue with PA 2.0.6 and 2.0.9.2 with the current version of 64 bit Office 365 and could not find any reference to any IBM fixes so raised this with them. They have responded to indicate that Excel 2016 and 2019 are supported for Perspectives but Office 365 will not be tested with P...

Re: TM1 Application Web - Can't update cell values if Zero
Hi RSK
Do you recall if you ever found a solution to this issue? I have someone reporting similar behaviour on a 10.2.2 FP5 install of TM1.

Re: TM1 10.2.2 FP6
Do you have further information about the IBM Interim Fix - e.g. the IBM APAR number or the PMR number?

TM1 and SCOM (Microsoft Systems Centre Operations Mannager)
Does anyone have experience with managing a TM1 server using SCOM (Microsoft Systems Centre Operations Manager)?
e.g. Are there any existing SCOM Management packs for TM1?

Re: 9.5.2 Server Explorer crash: text file records > 1021 c
The fix for this specific issue is in the client loose files. The other files (server and web) relate to the other fix items included in the fix pack.

Re: 9.5.2 Server Explorer crash: text file records > 1021 c
News on this is getting worse. When we run a TI in 9.5.2 that was created in a previous version of TM1 and points to a file with > 1021 characters in a record, it crashes the server. i.e. it is a TI that we would not be able to create in version 9.5.2 as Server Explorer crashes when previewing the f...

9.5.2 Server Explorer crash: text file records > 1021 chars
TM1 9.5.2 server explorer crash In turbo integrator when using a text file data source, attempting to preview a file that contains any record with more than 1021 characters causes server explorer and excel to crash. (i.e. a single row of data in the source file with greater than 1021 characters.) A...

Re: TM1 Web Error Message
Are there any updates on this one?
Deleting the excel processes works but should not be required. It seems that the error is preventing the processes from completing.
I am experiencing the same issue with 9.5.0 so no resolution for this there yet.

Re: Attributes vs Lookup Cubes
i have done spent a fair bit of time on testing the performance difference between attributes and lookup cubes when used in rules. It may not be logical but I have found that lookoup cubes are signifcantly faster. You probably wont notice the difference in a small model but if you are working with s...

Re: ViewExtractSkipRuleValuesSet Problem
Update on the status of this issue is that we registered it as an issue and Cognos has delivered a fix in 9.4 MR1. They are now considering also fixing it in 9.1 (which is what we need). It sounds like the issue is related to rules with a result = STET, within the cube view that is being zeroed out.

Re: Out Of Memory Error
Hi SSP It definately sounds like your server (or your PC if you are running a local server) is running out of memory. I find that the fastest way to verify this is to open Task Manager on the server while the problem process is running. This will be more informative than the stats cubes because you ...
