Hi Ricky,
Any updates on when you are planning make CAM security compatible ? Unless the editor connects through CAM not many developers can really use it. we love the tool but can't use it.
THanks,
Vinsea

Restrict user to submit the node in TM1 web (contributor)
Hi, Problem: We have forecasting cube for users to forecast units & ASP by quarter and region for products and we calculate $Value from it. Few users sometimes put some units and forget to input ASP which results in $0's but when we look at consolidation level like yearly, then TM1 consolidates ...

Re: Color Formats in TM1 Contributor
Websheets in contributor is a brilliant idea which gives us more flexibility and functionality by building active forms but only down side is dimension on rows missing subset editor which is crucial and making whole idea as a "No GO". Hope IBM include subset editor in active forms through ...

Re: Color Formats in TM1 Contributor
Websheets; Yes 10.2 supports websheets in contributor but i dont think we can copy and paste multiple inputs at consolidation level to use breakback functionality. This is the primary reason to use Tm1 cube views there. I know we can input at C level with spread prefix's but can't do for multiple ce...

Re: Color Formats in TM1 Contributor
Thanks for the idea. Problem with the websheet is we will lose the workflow. We use cell security for only certain periods ( Actual periods) to make the product hierarchy consolidations to Read. The uncommitted data is sitting at consolidation level in product dim for actual QTR's which could not be...

Color Formats in TM1 Contributor
Hi, Is there any way to Gray out cells in cube views for consolidations in contributor for actual QTR's with out adding 'Read' security Our Scenario We have TM1 sales forecast cube views used in contributor and inputs are done at product consolidation and they breakback to 0levels. WE have rules to ...

Drill Through are good in Architect but not in web
Hi Friends, I have created a drill through process which drills from high level cube to a detail level cube by passing time ,product & measure values. It is working in Architect but not in the web. What i mean is , example if i drill at Q1-13 i get a view opens up with Q1-13 in the detail cube.....

Re: Increment Output Txt or CSV file
Hi Rodger, I created batch files to merge all the versions output txt's into single file and its working. To keep everything in TM1 side , are you advising to dump my output data into a 2D cube? and just export this 2D cube out?. Looks cleaner.. My output could be about 9Million rows ... taking the ...

Re: Increment Output Txt or CSV file
Hi declanr,
Thanks for the reply. Ya i thought so but the file i generate is used by other ETL tools to load it to other systems. So i should be keeping my file name constant. Any other alternatives i can try off?
Thanks

Increment Output Txt or CSV file
Hi all, I have a process (B) which is called from Process (A). Process (A) have a while loop which is calling Process(B) for each iteration and passes single version each time it was called. Process(B) is creates a view for passed version and exports that view to a TXT file. Issue: When ever the pro...

Re: Multicommit Chore runtime issue
Yes, I have disabled the savedata chore and still the issue continues. Tomorrow am planning to split the chore into 2
Chore1:
updating actuals to cube A
Chore2:
1.Update actuals from Cube A to B
2.Update forecast numbers from Cube F to Cube B
Hope this helps.

Re: Data change in tm1
One more point to check is METADATA. Moving of Metadata could cause this issue too... Means you have your numbers in place and nothing got changed at transaction level but what if your consolidation elements gets moved? Example : If your numbers at product hierarchy got changed at higher level when ...

Re: Restrict from Data spreading_pros and cons
Yes , Giving Read access to C level and write access to N level of a cube intersection is doing the job. Typing into consolidations and spreading data is disabled. But not data spreading is disabled. Still if a user writes "p950" at C level then it does the data spreading ,which is fine fo...

Re: Values in TM1 Web and architect cube are different
Yes , It is not caching . Active form is created from the same cube view but in excel i have done lot of calculations and also converted period structure to show month names and a lot of stuff. Some how excel formula got disturbed and only December pulled data from different year.Sorry for posting.
