THANK YOU Declan.
YES, indeed it was a picklist cube. I did not even look at the control cubes, when I did not see a picklist in the attribute.
Shame on me.
Thanks a million

POW workspace specific Picklist
HI All, I dont know POW. I am supporting a customer who had another consultant building their POW. I have a problem. There is a dropdown list on 1 of the measure in POW. But there is no picklist in the cube. So it must be defined somewhere in POW. I cannot find it. Also, I tried putting a picklist o...

MDX help with 2 dimensions on rows
HI Expert, I am not a MDX expert, but I can write some. I have an active report with 2 dimensions on rows (I cannot take them out). Both of them have TM1RPTROW expressions. say DIM1 and DIM2 I am trying to FILTER on a measure of the cube. say: Mes = 'ABC' So I wrote the filter this way on dim1; (lea...

Re: OdbcOutput Update and Insert
It is a SQL Server table.
And yes, it is exactly what usually we do. I appreciate the answer, because the more techy than me are giving all sorts of SQL commands, and none is working.
Thank you for your help, I will stop looking and do exactly what you said.

OdbcOutput Update and Insert
Hi Expert, I know how to write the sql for odbcoutput Insert (if I truncated the table). I know also how to write the Update, if I dont want to truncate the table. My problem, is that the second one (which I want to use, because I dont want to truncate the table) does not do the inserts for new reco...

Re: mdx replace value with excel coordinate
Correction.
I tried
{TM1FILTERBYPATTERN( {TM1DRILLDOWNMEMBER( {TM1SUBSETALL( [Classe] )}, ALL, RECURSIVE )}, ' " &$B$10& " ' ) }
in a different environment (I think excel is newer) it worked.
Lesson learnt.
thanks
Micheline

mdx replace value with excel coordinate
Hi Expert, I am using an active form. I need to filtrate my first column with a value. I created an MDX to do that and it works perfectly: example: {TM1FILTERBYPATTERN( {TM1DRILLDOWNMEMBER( {TM1SUBSETALL( [Classe] )}, ALL, RECURSIVE )}, '*am*')} This will give me all the classes that contains AM Now...

Re: CELL STATUS
Oh wow. Thank you very much Paul for taking the time to answer. I realized yesterday when I saw the number of people who read the message with no answer, it means the solution is not simple. I did solve my problem by creating an alternate hierarchy in my dimension (used in the rows of the report) ca...

Re: TI process in architect weird error
Hi Steve, Now that you are asking me, it was 1 line inside the 'Generated Statement'. So in Architect, IN PROD, I am reading a line that is inside the generated Statement. but when I open the .PRO process using notepad (just to check), this line does not exist, because I had deleted it in dev and I ...

Re: TI process in architect weird error
Thanks Alexander,
I did check everything. The only thing I did not do, is stop the whole admin server or the physical server.
it is just scary that what you see in architect, is not always what is in the file itself.
I will have to be very vigilant.
thank you again.

Re: Drillthrough from 1 cube to another
Hi All, I finally found a way. I dont know if it is the best way, but it works for me. As I see that many people read but did not answer, here is what I did: In the drill Process, i created the view of the drill-to cube using a subset of the dimension that has a different name. in the prolog, I recr...

Hi Experts, I need to keep the SORT Order of the Chart of Accounts dimension as Manual.
