Re: Excel 2010 64bit Compatability, with CX 10.2.1
I have missed the info written on the"Notes" and when I saw the error msg mentioning "32-bit editions of Microsoft Office Excel 2007 or above", i I didn't realize the "Above" is referring to the office version and not the bits . After reading through the info posted by ...

Re: How to get dimensions and column values used while gener
You can try the mdx on control cube , eg }ElementAttributes_Branch.
This will give you the list of elements in the dimension and also the attributes that attach to the dimension.

Re: How to get dimensions and column values used while gener
select {TM1Subsetall( [Branch] ) } ON COLUMNS, {TM1SUBSETALL( [Dimension2] ) } ON ROWS FROM [mycube]
You cant have column and rows from the same dimension.

Have a read at the above topic to find out if it is the answer you looking for.
If you do not want to use relational database, you can still loop through the transaction log with TI to read the data back to the cube.

Re: How to get username with timestamp for last cube update
If cube logging is enabled, why not use transaction log to get the required information ?
Not through the tm1s.log but through the Transaction Log Query interface.

Re: Copying data from one cube to another cube
If you are doing this once off, then just save the view with the data you would like to copy across, create a TI using Cube View as the data source and use a cellputn command in the data tab to paste the data in the destination cube. If this has to happen regularly, then consider creating view using...

Re: ASCIIOUTPUT data
Yes, you are right, i am actually reffering to the order of the subset.
That would mean the best option now is to export the data out via prolog.
The only disadvantage of looping through the subset is not being able to supress zero.

ASCIIOUTPUT data
Hi All
Has anyone come across the order of the data that gets exported is not the same as the order of elements in the dimension ?
Static subset is created through TI prior to exporting the data out.

Re: Feeders Issue
Thanks for the reply. I was thinking i am able to get away with not using CubeProcessFeeders as it takes 10-15 minutes to refresh the feeders. But i was testing it and it got to use CubeProcessFeeders . Does it make any difference if making Adhoc N level element, and copy the data to Adhoc depending...

Will the f...

Budget and Forecast for Profit and Loss
There is a dimension call GL_Code and different group of cost is being forecast using different calculation. There are some similarities in the formula when the calculation is used. My question is comparing having rules that is easy to maintain vs rules that is faster, which one will you go for ? Is...

Re: using .NET API for TM1
You would only want to use .NET API for certain function. If you are planning to use it entirely to replace the whole interface, then it really defeat the purpose of using TM1. You would be better off coding the interface and use a normal back end database eg MS SQL server. I have been through the p...
