Re: PAX connection to PA and CA

Guessing that means no one has put data into a PAX report using data from Planning Analytics and Cognos Analytics at the same time.

PAX connection to PA and CA

Is it possible to have a PAX report that has data from a Planning Analytics and a Cognos Analytics cube at the same time? Looking to connect data cubes in 2 different data sources.

PA Cubes recalculating different values

I am seeing a weird issue where the aggregated numbers in my cube are changing values based on dimension orientation or just when I recalculate my cube. This seems to occur only on "Version" elements that are created. The cube that I am seeing this in does not have a rules file. I have res...

Planning Analytics for Excel Connection to TM1 10.2.2 server

Has anybody connected PAX to a TM1 10.2.2 application server running SSO? Having some issues, I know IBM says that these are not compatible but I have seen this work before. Any tips or things to check would be a big help.

Number Consolidation based on security settings

Looking for a little clarification on a security item that was brought to my attention by a user. If I am a user and I have access to 3 children that roll up to a parent. The parent has a total of 6 children. If I grant security access to that parent and I go to report data off that parent will that...

Re: Pulling PDF Application from Websheet

Can non excel file posted to the TM1 application be pulled through a Hyperlink in a websheet? My research on the web says not, but the documentation that says this is old so not sure if that is an enhancement.

Pulling PDF Application from Websheet

Quick Question. What is the best way to open a PDF file that I have saved as an application on TM1 from a websheet? Our users do not have access to the application tree and rely on action button navigation, so just opening the file is not an option.

Multiple Active Forms

Is it possible to have multiple active form section in one sheet of an excel book? I believe I have seen this before but have never needed to implement it until now. So for example in one sheet they may want to see an active form giving them employee FTE information, and then in the second section t...

I have users that are getting a "Could Not Locate Server" error in TM1web on an Action Button that only Rebuilds the sheet. As an administrator I can use the button but regular users can not. I have never seen this happen before as the other action buttons that are moving people between sh...

Automatically Rebuild Active Form Websheets

I have a question does anybody know how to automatically update an active form tm1rptrow whenever a title row item is changed? I currently have my web.config file set up like this per the IBM site I saw online <!-- Websheet Paging Settings --> <add key="WebsheetPaging" value="Enabled=...

Active Form Formula Edit

Has anyone ever seen behavior in an active form where when you go to edit the formula by pressing F2 or by editing the forumla directly excel does not recognize the formula and just displays the DBRW formula as text instead of recalcing the DBRW. So for example if I had a DBRW in a cell that was dis...

So to expand this is through perspectives. And I am doing this through the regular cube creation tool. I talk about attributes because I created new attributes manually through the "edit element attribute" screen and when I add these attributes and data the attribute control cube does not ...

Has anybody ever gotten this error when trying to create a cube. I have to try and create the cube twice to make the cube actually register but the attribute cubes for my dimensions are not creating at all.

Re: Contributor Stacked Dimensions

So basically the answer is no it is not possible in the cube viewer/contributor world that I live in currently. It would be in Active Form but we are currently not using 10 and need the cell to be enter able. Thank you for the information.

Re: Contributor Stacked Dimensions

An asymmetric view is not what I am looking for, and I do understand this is typical TM1 functionality. I do not believe what my client is asking for is possible. So to just be more clear and to expand on my example. Dept and GL accounts are stacked in the rows. A consolidated element called revenue...

I understand that, but is there a way to not have the dimension expends for every element on the other stacked dimension. I have been looking around and have not found anything.

Contributor Stacked Dimensions

Our client is complaining that when they expand on a Consolidation in the GL account dim, like revenue, and expand that to see account level detail revenue the...

What was the solution to this? The solution is dealing with the Alias for the client but I went back and checked and no alias's were blank.

Contributor Security for Consolidated Workflow Elements

I have a application where my client is requesting that one of the tabs that is a data entry point be hidden when you look at the application at the parent element in the workflow. So basically at the Department level a user can see a entry tab, however at the division level that same entry tab can ...
