I did download the ebook version of the packtpub book today and starting to review. Looks pretty good for us newbie types. Noticed that Wim Gielis was a reviewer. If anyone has questions about book let me know and I will answer to the best of my ability.

I agree with the procedure call.

Here is a sample of one I use which works well in Oracle.

In my 'isolated' dimension the pieces all work with: 1) a TI process to delete all elements and (2) epilog that fires off a second TI process to build hierarchy. Tomak, when I created TI process (ODBC) to create hierarchy it creates additional sub-consolidation elements with the same children. This would cause the rollup to double up.

For example:
Region 1
--- District 1
------Loc 10
------Loc 11
------Loc 12
--- 1
------10
------11
------12
