Re: TM1 book and release of TM1 10
I did download the ebook version of the packtpub book today and starting to review. Looks pretty good for us newbie types. Noticed that Wim Gielis was a reviewer. If anyone has questions about book let me know and I will answer to the best of my ability.

Re: DBRA Discrepancies (9.5.2)
Mike, thanks as that did the trick and good knowledge to maintain. We had reformatted the cells a number of ways with negative result. Using the ' before the value did return the attribute. Thus, we recreated the worksheet with all cells properly formatted and reloaded with success. Thanks again and...

Re: Unidentified SQL failure in TI
I agree with the procedure call.
Here is a sample of one I use which works well in Oracle.
ODBCOpen('Server Name','User','Password');
ODBCOutput('Server Name','{call procedure_name}');
ODBCClose('Server Name');

Re: TM1 9.5.2 Multi-Line Report - Doable?
tomok , thank you for the reply and apologize for being vague. I'm living and learning! This report is a supplier performance based report and the suppliers will be the parent. I am creating a top 100, bottom 100, and also be able to select by division, buyer, etc. I am currently working on your ide...

TM1 9.5.2 Multi-Line Report - Doable?
Being the novice I am, the only reporting I have done has been single row. Has anyone done multi-row report per parent element which does change per reporting period, i.e. top 100? Example: Line 1 Parent Line (select and sort; changes per reporting period) Line 2 MONTH-TY xxxxx xxxxxx xxxxx xxxxxx x...

Re: TI Process to Update Security 9.5.2
Paul, yes I did change to an 'S' before running the process. Received the rule err msg while running the TI process, thus, I did not do security refresh. As I have inherited this I can't find anyone that knows why rule was put on the cube and against a dimension no one knows why exists. I am a littl...

Re: Automated Subset Maintenance 9.5.2
In my 'isolated' dimension the pieces all work with: 1) a TI process to delete all elements and (2) epilog that fires off a second TI process to build hierarchy. My open questions are why is process against the base cost center dimension creating/adding additional elements and how do I delete/change...

Re: Automated Subset Maintenance 9.5.2

Re: Automated Subset Maintenance 9.5.2
Tomak, when I created TI process (ODBC) to create hierarchy it creates additional sub-consolidation elements with the same children. This would cause the rollup to double up.
For example:
Region 1
--- District 1
------Loc 10
------Loc 11
------Loc 12
--- 1
------10
------11
------12
For example:
Region 1
--- District 1
------Loc 10
------Loc 11
------Loc 12
--- 1
------10
------11
------12
