Subset Dynamic to Approval
Hi all, Anyone ever create dynamic subset of Position against the Approval hierarchy, I did and dunno what to do with the conso level of approval, it does not auto aggregate the subset. I think I might create another cube for only conso-level approval (node) to see , in which there is an additional ...

Dynamic subset on 9.5.2
hi all, We using Contributor of 9.5.2 (Build: 9.5.20000.11857). As another team has experienced on 9.5.1, the dynamic subset is not working consistently (no fault pattern found, so concluding it's bug). We tested dynamic subset on 9.5.2 contributor, and found that 1) it not working on some nodes, gi...

Intercube Feeders
Dear Steve Rowe, You mean the essence of feeders is to tell if this number exist in the feeding cell, go check the rule of the fed cell. For example; A =>B means if A = 0, then skip rule checking of B. If A <>0, go perform rules of B Therefore we can ignore how the rules are written in writing feed...

sorry this might not answer the initial question. I can't quite recall the situation back then,
but well this is another piece of fact of TM1, on contributor error about taking ownership.

Re: Contributor Errors
When taking ownership, system auto creates a default sandbox, with a sandbox name looking like, a system generated code in front, then node name. The system gen code is quite long, that makes the sandbox name exceeds sandbox name character limit, some setting at cfg. Notice that this problem only oc...

Re: Supress Zero and FEEDERs
Thanks a lot to both of you !! This is definitely helping our team. I got one more wonder. The event of zero suppression suppresses the parent cell when parent has a value and chilren has no value, will still occur, if we do not feed its children cells? In other word, skipcheck will evaluate parent ...

Re: Supress Zero and FEEDERs
Additional explanation for 1)
The conso cell, which derives from rules, do not depend on its children; not by rule, nor conso (children sum to conso).

Supress Zero and FEEDERs
Dear all, We are wondering about two thing; 1) does suppress zero a true indicator of whether a cell has been fed. 2) when do we need feeders from start point to end point, in case of a serial of DB rules. Explanation for 1) There is a rule-derived consolidated cell, and its children cells. What we ...

Re: Stat cube: fed cells
In the process of tuning feeders; I deleted a specific feeder statement, then I want to look at how much the "Number of Fed Cells" (in StatCube) reduce. When the reduction is large, it means such feeder statement is feeding large number of cells; so I would go tuning that feeder. Because r...

Stat cube: fed cells
How do we make StatCube to show true figures of "Number of Fed Cells". I'm trying to rid of overfeeding by reducing "Number of Fed Cells". I tried delete feeders in cube Loan, then run process "DeleteAllPersistentFeeders", then unload cube Loan, then re-open cube Loan. ...

Re: number of days in month for rule calc ?
You could try adding another element calculating No of day in a month. If ((No of Month) = Month with 31 days, then 31, continue, If ((No of Month) = Month with 31 days, then 31, continue, If ((No of Month) = Feb, then 28, 0 ))) Then you put this element, No of day in a month, in the rule calculatin...

Graph by Excel on TM1Web
Dear all, I make a graph in Excel and put it on TM1web, a problem is some chart formats do not follow that in Excel, specifically the graph axis option. However, some chart features, such as the chart size, do adjust according to Excel. I already tried both Excel 2003 and 2007, not working. How to f...
