New Config Parameter - LicenseMetricTime
Has anyone noticed / tested the new parameter "LicenseMetricTime" in the new default tm1.cfg file that is now being shipped with TM1 10.2.2 FP3 There is little documentation on this besides the commentary in the config file (See below). I have raised a PMR with IBM but this is taking some ...

Re: Automation Error when loading TM1p.xla
Resolution : 1. Close the addin and all Excel sessions 2. Go to the following path in Windows Explorer: C:\Documents and Settings\<<Your user ID>>\Application settings\Microsoft\Excel\ 3. There should be a *.xlb file there (in Office 2003 called 'Excel11.xlb') which holds the command bar customisati...

Re: Error in macro Excel TM1 Server Connect CODE = 80010105
After much perseverance I found a solution that works. Under c:\documents and Settings\user name xxx\application data \Microsoft\Excel there is a file called Excel11.xlb which holds toolbar customisation data By deleting this all error messages have disappeared and TM1 is back to normal. This file g...

Re: Error in macro Excel TM1 Server Connect CODE = 80010105
Hi All, been a while but now back on the TM1 wagon. I have experienced this problem a number of times when accessing TM1 via explorer. After clicking OK to the error messages TM1 tends to behave as normal. I am now working on a project where the login is managed via VBA. This is causing problems as ...

Re: Dimension Order
I have a follow on question on re-ordering dimensions.
Has anyone experienced degradation in query times on a ruled cube after having optimized a cube (i.e. reduced the cube size) using the dimension ordering wizard.

Multiple instances of TM1 on one multi core server
I'd be interested to hear of other sites' experience with running multiple TM1 instances on a modern server with lots of cores (4/8/etc). Is anybody doing this? Do the different instances perform acceptably, and not get in each other's way? We have 9.0 SP3 U9 in mind for this but experience with lat...
