abinaya, please don't tell us how you actually did it. some secrets should remain untold.

Re: mdx issues
Giggle. Evgeny, try something like this. TM1Member(TM1SUBSETALL([Period]).Item([System Info].([System Parameters].[Current Reporting Period],[System Info Measure].[String])) ,0) Given you have a System Info Measure dimension in your cube with an element 'String'. This is not tested exactly like that...

You could just strip off the spaces (blanks) and use that. E.g salesmeasures should work.

Re: tm1 server crashed due to excel work
Hi, Do you have a specific problem with a specific version of Excel or specific Version of TM1? Or are you just curious whether there ever were instances in all possible combinations of TM1 and Excel? If the former is the case then try and describe it more specifically. In both cases try a search on...

Re: How to find who run a TM1 DB Service?
Is the TM1 service set to start 'automatic' and the machine was restarted? I don't know how many people can log on to your server machine but usually this a relatively small group of which I would expect they know what they are doing. That includes letting other people know when they randomly start ...

Re: Relative Proportional Spread Codes
Hi, I guess the reasoning why the RPS is only available through the context menu is that compared to 'simple' spreads like Proportional Spread you need to provide the details (possibly another cube) of what you want to base your spread on. The list of shortcuts can be found in the documentation. Btw...

Re: value compared to the dimension member
Sorry Cog1, but I really had to laugh about this post. I am still smiling while I write this. You'll find that you will get a lot better answers if you give more detail in regards to why you need to do this, what kind of model this is for, what you have tried (Rules, Turbo Integrator) to achieve thi...

Re: tm1xl.ocx error
Hi i am getting this error when I tried to open the excel file in TM1 web application folder. The version of TM1 is 9.5 and excel is 2010. Obviously you don't get the error you are showing in your screenshot when you are doing the above - you get it when you manually try an register the ocx. And thi...

Hi
Have a look here
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.w ... 63#coretm1
Unfortunately the list stops at FP1 but I would say that 9.5.2 FP 2 should be something like this
9.5.20202.24001
Cheers

Re: Need idea on how to measure timestamp duration
Hi, In the end I would do the transformation into hours at load time unless you will also be planning and forecasting on a minute level, which is unlikely. If it is a pure reporting cube definitely at load time. If you are an absolute beginner and also have no experience with other ETL tools you mig...

Re: Feed based on Selected element from Picklist cube
Hi I guess my post comes too late and might be off the mark anyway, but... From what I understand, what you are doing in you reporting cube is A. Consolidate the numbers of the source accounts to a higher level and B. and at least for the calc that you show you are only ever using a specific year as...

Hi
Put a
count = 0;
in the Prolog tab and move your
count=count+1;
to the very top of your data tab (where you have your asciioutput).

Re: Grabage memory runs away
That was my opinion too, but a colleague of mine says that it's only by rebooting the server machine (not only TM1) that garbage memory will be given back. What do the others think? Once the TM1 server stops, once the service is no longer running, once it has ceased to exist from the point of view ...

Re: Gah...View display issues
I have a 14d cube, the last dim being a measure dim with some string elements in it. Any thoughts? This is a very long shot as well but are the dimensions exactly the same on the servers e.g. the (2nd) dimension in question has a sneaky String element in it? I had a weird one before where there wer...

Maybe try and upgrade to 9.5.2 FP2. As PM49801 apparently (I have not tested this) is fixed there. Could be your issue.
