Re: Ultimate Long TM1 quiz
Hi, Assuming the model already has a "Config" cube, I would add an element called "Feed Static Addends", set its value to 1 then add the following feeder Then why not set the value to 4 and do a DB to the config cube in the rule, rather than hard code 4. I would assume this must ...

Re: Ultimate Long TM1 quiz
Hi,
The feeder would be:
How did ascheevel overtake Admin in the lead, given he was in the lead the previous week?
Maren
The feeder would be:
Code: Select all
[‘Volume’] => [‘Sales’];

Re: Workflows - Getting started
Hi, PAW has the concept of Plans, and I believe Plans are IBM's idea of Workflow. As you say new features in PAW are released regularly and Plans isa fairly new thing, so probably quite a few new features are around Plans. I have seen it in use and it seems ok up to a point, but I would say that as ...

Re: Architect/Perspectives to be removed from PAoC
And bear in mind that PAoC RDP and Arcitect/Perspectives are only available for Modlers not the general user population who have only ever had Workspace and PAfE So it makes no difference to the general users right? Doesn't change their experience at all. As for modellers and admins it takes someth...

Action Button in PAX with parameters
Hi, I suspect it has always been the case but I hadn't noticed before, but when you run a process from Excel (PAX or Perspectives) or from the websheet published in PAW/web, has it always been the case that when the user pressed the button and the process had parameters, the user would not be prompt...

Other than the browser back arrow I don't think so for PAW. Maybe one for the ideas portal.

Re: Ultimate Long TM1 quiz
MDX can be used in: Dimension Subsets Cube Views in PAW, PAX In TI processes to create source views, build subsets. In PAX or Perspectives dynamic reports, and probably Universal reports but not got around to those yet. Just to be clear, re the last question, is that scenario theoretically possible ...

Re: TM1 Rule to Propagate Values Between Dimensions
Hi, I think we need more information, one bit of information that would be useful is what do you mean exactly by "But both this rule is not working."? Also, if you provide a single example of a product that isn't working, i.e. provide its 'at_CPG' attribute value and also the 'att_PPBU' at...

Re: TM1 Rule to Propagate Values Between Dimensions
Hi, On first reading this doesn't make sense to me, I think you say you want to update the product attributes based on the CPG attributes but you appear to be putting the rule in the CPG attribute cube, not the product attribute cube? I would have expected to see something like this: ['at_PBBU'] = S...

Re: Referencing a lookup cube or Attribute in a TI Process
Hi, vCCElements='!006 Main - Cost Centre'; What is this meant to be? Because when you use this: IF(ATTRS(vCC,vCCElements,vAttribute)@='Other'); You are asking is the attribute for an element called !006 Main - Cost Centre equal to other. I suspect you really want to ask what the attribute for the el...

Re: PAfE Issue on Win 11
Hi, Didn't the way PAX was installed completely change after PAW version 65, and don't IBM recommend that PAX should not be out of sync with PAW, something like within 3 versions? Doesn't explain the reason why it works on windows 10 I know but I would be interested to see what IBM respond with. Maren

Hi George,
I was definitely not aware of that feature, many thanks! You obviously keep your hear well to the ground to dig up all this stuff.
I doubt that is what the Quiz Master had in mind though as way of a solution...
