Re: ASCIIOUTPUT file extension has a $ sign at the end
Does your file "test_quotes.csv" already exist on the server and is it possibly open in another program. The $ at the end of the extension is a temp file and it will get stuck like that when it's unable to replace the existing file at the completion of TI execution. If you look at the ser...

ASCIIOUTPUT file extension has a $ sign at the end
Hi Experts, Has anyone come across this issue? The output file has a '$' after the '.csv'? I've scoured the internet and these forums and can't seem to find a way to fix this. How do I remove the $ after exporting a cube view to a csv file without doing it manually? I'm using the exported data file ...

Re: Feeder statement cleanup
Thanks everyone, I'm going to go ahead and use the DeleteAllPersistentFeeders function. Hoping server startup won't take too long. I recall last year it taking a good 8 hours to reprocess all feeders in the model. I've since deleted about 90% of all feeder statements in the model, some I replaced wi...

Feeder statement cleanup
Hi Experts, I'm cleaning up some inefficient feeders that I implemented a year ago and now with more experience realize are not necessary. I'm finding that after removing many of the feeder statements that the total memory used for feeders has not changed in }StatsByCube. Does the .feeder file need ...

CAM Groups with back slash in v11
We recently upgraded from v10.2.2 to v11 and when I run Security Refresh it crashes. I noticed that new CAM groups that I add have a forward slash instead of a backslash. Does anyone know if this could be what is causing the issue? Do I need to delete all the old CAM groups with a backslash and re-a...

PAx with multiple workbooks open
Hi Everyone, We've been noticing some strange behavior after downgrading to PAx. - User switches to another workbook, the PAx addin seems to loop through all sheets in the workbook and land on a different sheet than what was selected. The workbook "has a seizure". - An Excel macro that cop...

Re: Budget planning model with dynamically shifting costs
Thank you both. Currently the overfeeding is limited to the next five fiscal years/periods using an alternate heirarchy in the fiscal year dimension called '(All Future Years)' which willed be updated once a year, however not ideal. Performance is not suffering (for now). I had thought about using T...

Budget planning model with dynamically shifting costs
Hi Everyone, I'm implementing into our budget planning model a project cost input cube with a relative time dimension. For example the user could enter the project costs at a time relative to the project completion date. So any costs incurred leading up to the project would be entered into Weeks -W0...

Server/Service Restart on Crash - Planning Analytics, PAx and PAW 2.0
Hi Everyone, Occasionally our TM1 server will crash for no apparent reason. Since upgrading to PA 2.0, the crash trigger seems to be when I am manually editing a dimension and I change the sort order. Architect locks up and the server becomes unresponsive. The problem I have is that our IT help desk...

Issue with entering into empty cell (PAx 2.0)
Has anyone experienced an issue with PAx where you enter a value or text into an empty cell and it automatically overwrites it with a DBRW formula? If I enter a formulas in the cell this does not happen. I'm trying to determine what exactly is causing this, but it only seems to happen sometimes. If ...

TM1 web form date issue - PA 2.0
We recently upgraded from TM1 10.2.2 to PA 2.0. We now seem to have an issue with some of our web forms that are used for inputting dates. When a date is entered manually or selected using the new date picker, that date stays the cell when another title element is selected. The DBRW formulas do not ...
