TM1Top does not cancel process while waiting Database - Batch Process

Hi all! In a project, we make parallel processes to take data from a database. And sometimes we want to cancel the process while TI is trying to wait database response. (in case of when we realize anything wrong in code). When we hit 'c' and try to cancel parallel processes while waiting database, w...

Re: TI Function ViewMDXGet Not Working

No. You would have to create a traditional view based on the MDX that you get with ViewMDXGet. Hi Wim, But when I want to take ASCII of ViewMDX with ViewMDXGet function, the output is blank string. Please correct but to get a ViewMDX of a traditional view, I know that I must firstly attach a ViewMD...

Re: TI Function ViewMDXGet Not Working

Traditional MDX views saved as .vue files (created by user in architect or with TI ViewCreate function) aren't MDX based and wil of course return blank string for MDX value. This function will only return MDX string for views created in Workspace or other rest API based client like Arc or created w...

Re: TI Function ViewMDXGet Not Working

I'm using PA 2.0 but I also cannot use this function. Is there anyone can use it?
With ASCIIOUTPUT this function retrieves nothing.
I use this syntax : vMDX = ViewMDXGet(vCube,vView)

Re: Subset Name given View and Dimension Name

Hello, This is indeed tricky. There is no such function. You could: - use code (TI, VB, Java, ...) to inspect the *.vue file (public or private view ?) - use the TM1 REST API (or similar), which can give you the layout of a view. This is advanced stuff, I cannot give you working code examples. For ...

Subset Name given View and Dimension Name

Hi all,

I searched dimension and subset manipulation functions of TI but I cannot find a function to retrieve a subset name given view and dimension name. I guess a TI process trick can give the subset name given these two arguments. Is there a solution to this problem?

Regards.

Re: TM1 Web- Cell Background Color Change

If it is a active form or slice TM1 supports conditional formatting for a criteria : https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS9RXT_9.5.0/com.ibm.swg.im.cognos.tm1_wb.9.5.2.doc/tm1_wb_id868ConditionalFormatting_N10064D.html But other than that, the default behavior is not editable/rules driven ...

TM1 Web- Cell Background Color Change

Hello, I am currently a user of PA 2.0. We created a data entry view in TM1 Web for our customers, but in that view cell background colors are dark grey for uneditable cells, and open grey and white for editable cells. So, that is not good for the customer to distingush which are editable or not. Th...

Re: PA for Excel 2.0.3 - not appearing in the Ribbon- not working

Did you also check it was enabled in your COM addins? Am I reading correctly that you're running TM1 10.2.2 and not Planning Analytics? If that's the case, I believe the excel add-in is a different product: CAFE. Thank you asscheevel. I go to COM Addins, and activated IBM Framework for Office and p...

Re: PA for Excel 2.0.3 - not appearing in the Ribbon- not working

Are you opening Planning Analytics for Excel (from the Stat menu) or are you opening Excel? Have you configured Excel to load the Planning Analytics for Excel add-in on startup? There is no Planning Analytics for Excel in the Start menu. So, I directly open Excel. I can see IBM Cognos Office Report...

Hello, I am currently Planning Analytics 2.0 user in my PC and Perspectives run in PC very well. Then I try to install PAx.
