Re: TM1 applications and uncommitted sandbox data
Thank you for your reply. The application reset seems to do the trick, however I'm encountering the same kinds of issue when I was trying to resolve this issue by using the sandboxdelete function in TI. It seems that sandboxes are not loaded into memory when a user is not logged into the system afte...

TM1 applications and uncommitted sandbox data
Hey all, I'm running into some issues with sandboxes and tm1 applications and I'm wondering if anyone has some insight regarding this situation. What is causing the problem: • User A uses Tm1 application to update forceast figures for november (during november 2018), but doesn't commit, figures rema...

Re: Tracking User Logins
For anyone else who is figuring out why their log isn't appearing, for me the log appears in the folder as is defined in the LoggingDirectory parameter in the tm1s.cfg file, which was not the same folder as the tm1s.cfg file.

Re: PAW / PAX performance discussion
Hi Robster, I've noticed the lag in dragging panes as well. Can I ask if you are using PAW through a RDP session connecting to a remote location? I have found that this seems to be the main contribution to the lag rather than PAW itself? Cheers, Hello Steve, Yes, I use a RDP connection to access PA...

Re: PAW / PAX performance discussion
I use different kinds of set-ups for different clients. Most installations are implemented on a Windows Server 2016 nowadays. I haven't tried a linux installation just yet. I believe the WS2016 also doesn't virtualize since it has native support for Docker. I encounter performance issues when I star...

Re: Planning Analytics Workspace – Installation issue / IP issue
Just a quick update from my side. Since we still got issues with the server at the data center we decided to set up a server at a different location far away from the other application servers with we had issues with. The issue was resolved with by moving the server. Now all webapplications are avai...

PAW / PAX performance discussion
Hello, I’m wondering what other people have experienced related to Planning Analytics Workspace & PAX performance at a production environment. I’ve installed PAW and PAX on a couple of customer systems and I noticed that PAX works really well. Large data sheets calculate much faster and the inte...

Re: Planning Analytics Workspace – Installation issue / IP issue
I have not tried to install PAW local, but I am watching a video on installing PAW local on Windows 2016 server. At around 30 minutes, the video shows that the docker network interface priority has to be changed to a higher number so that the TM1 default public network interface is used. Video link...

Planning Analytics Workspace – Installation issue / IP issue
Hello all, I’m running into difficulties when installing Planning Analytics Workspace local on a Windows 2016 server. On my first try I nearly completed the installation, but unfortunately we ran into some problems with other applications. First try - Installed Docker - Installed Planning Analytics ...

Re: Adjusting font size of action buttons with VBA
Interesting, I'll try it with opening and closing the workbook. It's unfortunate that there isn't an easier way.

Adjusting font size of action buttons with VBA
Hello, I'm trying to easily adjust the font size on any of my action buttons in a worksheet. I figured I just change the font size by editing the "OLEOobjects". This is my piece of code which I use to try to adjust the font size: Debug.Print Blad1.OLEObjects("TIButton16").Object....

Re: Connecting an older client to a newer server
Thank you for your responses. I already have the parameter SupportPreTLSv12Clients=T in the tm1s.cfg file. I also tried ClientVersionMinimum but it didn't seem to help. If anything it seems to me that using ClientVersionMinimum and Maximum are only limiting the possibilities for the client to connect.

Connecting an older client to a newer server
Hello, Currently I’m working for a client who is in the middle of an upgrade session (10.2.1 10.2.2 FP6). Because the client does not want to disturb the users with much downtime they would like to keep the clients on their current version (10.2.1), and only install new systems with the newest ver...
