Any new ideas ?
I came across again this problem. When I changed my flex view, I realized that the toolbar disappeared, for all the flex views in the same Excel file, without knowing exactly when it happened

Re: [CAFE 10.2] 2 user friendly requirements
Once TM1 connected, is it possible to simply tell user which admin host is used in an understandable language ? (Ex. 53.90.132.45 means nothing to user while Sales Planning Production/UAT is much better) This is simply a matter for the application owner and the local responsible IT to sort out to d...

Re: [CAFE 10.2] 2 user friendly requirements
Custom indicator: 1. delete some value in flex 2. when this cell populated with number - refresh completed. It is very useful with a lot of flex sheets and bad data channel. Thanks silw for your reply When user waits for the refresh, leaving a cell blank, but how can she know if the refresh is fail...

[CAFE 10.2] 2 user friendly requirements
Hi, We combine TM1 and CAFE for a sales planning tool. 1. Is there something in CAFE like a progress bar which can tell users if the refresh/commit is finished ? 2. Once TM1 connected, is it possible to simply tell user which admin host is used in an understandable language ? (Ex. 53.90.132.45 means...

[CAFE 10.2] How to debug a "Refresh error" of a flex view?
Hi, We combine TM1 and CAFE for a sales planning tool. Now a user is failed to refresh a flex view in her Excel file, where she was used to do some refresh and commit in the past months. However there's no problem with other flex views in other Excel files. When she click refresh button, she can see...

Re: [CAFE 10.2] How can the toolbar under the ribbon disappe
It used to be recommended that CAFE and Perspectives should not run at the same time(I don't know if this has changed, if anybody has experienced problems please share). I am not sure if your issue has something to do with this, but you can give it a try by running only CAFE and trying to replicate...

[CAFE 10.2] How can the toolbar under the ribbon disappear ?
Hi, We combine TM1 Perspectives 10.2.2 and CAFE 10.2.2 on Excel 2010 to create a sales planning tool for an automobile company. A suite of Excel templates to commit data were designed for the planners. Sometimes the CAFE toolbar, which contains the refresh and the commit button, disappear, often aft...

How these rules work ?
Hello, Suppose we have 5 entities from E1 to E5, and 3 layers from L1 to L3. In Cube1 we have this rule: ['Entity':{'E1','E2','E3'},'Layer':{'L1'}]=N:if(1@=1, STET, CONTINUE); 1. Does TM1 check ['Entity':{'E4'},'Layer':{'L1'}], although we haven't any rules on it ? How about the code below ? If (['E...

Re: What does CAFE refresh do ?
Agree with @lotsaram (though I do feel CAFE isn't quite ready for prime time yet). In particular, if you have a decent size system without skipchecks and feeders, it will be ludicrously slow. That's what needs fixing. The cube has 8 dimensions, among which the two biggest have 67 and 78 elements, w...

What does CAFE refresh do ?
Hello, I'm working on performance trouble shooting as our sheets' refresh takes too much time (30s~40s) to retrieve data. That's why I'd like to understand what are the real actions behind this little CAFE button "refresh". I presume that from the click, the local machine send a request to...
