My apologies, I no longer work in IBM Support.
I no longer have access to the Support test environments or the products themselves.
The best bet is to raise a PMR ticket so that you can get the right level of support that your IT guy needs,
Im sorry I cannot help

Issue 1 - Using the Technote - After Point #14, but before #15, delete the 3 directories in the Tomcat working directory (pmhub/pmpsvc/tm1web) Point #15 between the 2nd & 3rd steps, do a save in the cognos configuration Then update settings in PMhub to use a FQDN Issue 3 - Have you taken into ac...

Try setting up using JMeter in Detailed mode, running in real time monitoring.
It is enhanced TM1Top, and that might help
Otherwise, its time to raise a query with Big Blue

It did .. apologies .. Must remember to read the WHOLE post ..Alan Kirk wrote:Isn't 10.1 still on IIS? I thought that the move to Tomcat came at 10.2. (Which is why I thought it odd that there was an instruction about Tomcat in the 9.5.x manual update instructions.)

Re: SSL breaks on Nov 24 (TM1 SSL Certificates Expire on 24 November)
If I only use Cognos BI for CAM. Do I need to do anything with it? It is installed on a different server than TM1. I searched that server but couldn't even find the files that Im supposed to replace. Anyone know? You only have to concern yourself with BI if you use TM1 as a data source for BI. Then...

Re: SSL breaks on Nov 24 (TM1 SSL Certificates Expire on 24 November)
All, I haven't seen much talk about the Cognos BI 10.2 bin64\ssl directory. I understand that the Tm1 client needs to be upgraded on the Cognos BI server through the flash updates + manual tasks (uninstall, import, ikeyman command) but have any of you also replaced the default applixca cert that ge...

Re: CAFE: Cognos Analysis for Excel Error
The provisioner does nothing to the pmhub.
It only works on the planning service. pmpsvc.
Whatever you did, you had already done it. It might have updated your java environment, but that would be it. It is written for JRE 1.6 & 1.7

Re: SSL breaks on Nov 24 (TM1 SSL Certificates Expire on 24 November)
Is there anything wrong with using the v2 certs? Yes they do expire earlier but we do not plan on staying with this version for more than 6 years. Since we are using 10.2.2 FP5, I will have to use the manual method to update the certs. I do not want to go through all that again whenever I need to r...

Check your pmhub settings
Can PMhub see your servers? (pmhub/pm/tm1/servers)
Download and install Fiddler to check the comms between CAFE and the PMHub

Re: SSL breaks on Nov 24 (TM1 SSL Certificates Expire on 24 November)
I did the upgrade on one of our test servers by switching to using v2 certificates. I did try change the server clock forward and the result is I couldn't even login. (We use CAM authentication through BI against Active Directory. So it indeed is a bad idea.) When I check the certificate in Interne...

Re: SSL breaks on Nov 24 (TM1 SSL Certificates Expire on 24 November)
Hello, We are going to update our TM1 SSL Certification to avoid the planned expiration for the November 24th 2016. IBM recommands to roll ahead the server clock past November 24th 2016 to ensure that the product behaves as expected post expiration date. Any ideas about the impact of this action on...

Re: Post SSL certificate update TM1 admin server doesn't stop
Thanks for tip, gtonkin. I did overwrite SSL folder when it moved in.Restarting the box bought the things to normal. Thanks again. The reason restarting the box worked is that the new certs created a new security profile for the server instances. All actions relating to implementing SSL certs should...

Re: SSL breaks on Nov 24 (TM1 SSL Certificates Expire on 24 November)
Generate your own certs. This to me is the best solution to break the dependency. Good idea. But people need to learn exactly what is happening when they do, or the amount of issues that will occur will be horrendous. I get cases every month where people have made a half-arsed attempt at this and t...
