Re: Transfer data in the cube to a specific cell
thanks for the info but I do not quite understand what is meant MY_DIMENSION_VARIABLES_CHANGE_OVER_HERE and OTHER_DIMENSION_VARIABLES (I'm sorry, I'm not completely versed in the processes) IF(CELLISUPDATEABLE(vCubeName, MY_DIMENSION_VARIABLES_CHANGE_OVER_HERE, pTargetElement,OTHER_DIMENSION_VARIABL...

Hello everybody! I have a question about copying data from one element to another element in one cube using TI. I have a source, and a dim period, I need to copy data from one period to any other. It is necessary that when process start, I could choose the period in which to copy the data. how is th...

Re: question about feeders
"Do your values hold when Zero Suppressed, can you Check Feeders and Trace Feeders?" Yes, All these paras executed. When I check FEEDERS, the first thing I look thet the data displayed in consolidation, If the cube does not have consolidation, I check with Zero Suppressed. The problem is n...

Re: question about feeders
Thanks for the link, I have read, and I have a question - In this article write that You can see how much memory is used for calculations feeders ( in cube }StatsByCube ), but it does not say how much it should be used. ( for example - "Look for cubes with particularly large values ... " )...

question about feeders
Hello,
Explain to me, please, why the rule with feeders have a long time to save.
for example - Rule has 5 settlements and 10 feeders, Internal 5 and 5 to other cubes, save about 30 minutes, without feeder calculations quickly save. And that in all cubes.
What could be the reason?
Thanks!

Re: problem with text data in a cube (Cognos TM1. 10.2)
Thanks, gtonkin, for the answer. The question is - whether it is necessary feed text values? Perhaps the reason that the rule saves long, that I feed text values? the following example: Dimension has elements - 1. manual correction ( through a Pick List, select Manual or payment ) 2. Calculated elem...

Hello everyone! I have a problem with text data in a cube; in the rules has been active function FEEDSTRINGS, but not correctly inserted into cell text data, I insert the data array, for example, 15 cells, but is inserted only 5 or 10, and in different cells. I disabled the function FEEDSTRINGS in t...

Profit for 10 years
hello everyone, I have a problem at the time of counting income for 10 years. I have a cube, in it there is a calculation of four elements, I need to count the sum of these elements by 10 years. Re: Checking for coincidence
Sorry for the confusion I meant that when I insert an element in the dimension using the TI, I can not insert two identical elements in one dimension. So I can not keep track of the same elements. You wrote earlier: << Use a TI process that evaluates the cells, and for example create a temporary dim...

Re: Checking for coincidence
excuse me, but I can not understand what you mean, DIMIX function applied to elements measuring, and it is necessary to check the data that we write by hand, that there is no repetition. I wrote the formula: [ ] = S: IF ( DB(....,'Number')@=' ', 'Ok', IF ( DB ( ..... 'Number')@= DB(....., DB(.....,'...
