ViewZeroOut with Hierarchies in PA2.0 - How about string values on consolidated level?
Hi, there's a topic and workaround presented for data zero out when using "alternative hierarchies" in PA 2.0. https://tm1forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=14330&p=70847&hilit=hierarchy+zero+out This works fine when dealing with numeric cells and making sure that all n-level elemen...

TM1 Web 10.3. - Date Picker?
Hi All,
According to https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgece ... b_103.html
there should be a date picker available on TM1 Web 10.3. available. Has anyone got it working/visible? If yes, how?
Thanks!

Re: Planning Analytics Local 2.0 - Where is TM1Web?
Yep, there it was. I had to create "a new resource" under "IBM Cognos TM1 Services" and now I am able to see TM1 web login screen. Cannot log in but need to invest more about config etc.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Planning Analytics Local 2.0 - Where is TM1Web?
Thanks for your prompt response!
I uninstalled and re-ran the installer and made sure that that TM1Web is checked but no change - Cognos Configuration looks still the same.
What could it be? Some missing software requirement on my PC?

Planning Analytics Local 2.0 - Where is TM1Web?
Hi all, I just installed Planning Analytics Local on my PC and checked TM1Web option in the beginning of installation. However, I cannot see Application Server in Cognos Configuration and respective Windows Service is not listed either. Am I looking for something that does not exist in Planning Anal...

Re: Summation on consolidation levels depending on security
I am afraid that this will not be resolved in coming fixes. This is the way that TM1 security paradigm is and has been "always". And like I said, we can argue whether this implementation is correct or not. In my opinion, the existing way is the correct one - if you enable user to see conso...

Re: Summation on consolidation levels depending on security
This is how TM1 dimension security works and you cannot change that fact. Of course we can argue what should be "the right way" to handle consolidated values when there is dimension security applied to underlying elements. You need to work out a workaround to resolve you problem. One optio...

Re: Extract each character from an element
Technical solution would be really simple - just string manipulation with couple of TI functions. Two further questions came to my mind. How are you going to maintain the data integrity if the elements in your data source are not corresponding the ones in TM1? And what is the value of having scrambl...

Yes, commit at consolidated level. I think that's how Applications work nowadays. The commit must happen at the same level than the ownership was taken.

I have similar experiences that INSTR doesn't work in Excel Active Forms BUT when the same active form is uploaded in TM1 Web, it works there without any issues.

Re: How to check for the presence of the element in the subs
Well, you didn't specify your need so: 1. Visually in subset editor :) 2. Write a while loop in TI process to loop thru subset indexes from 1..n where n=SubsetGetSize(<subset_name>) and check with IF condition and SubsetGetElementName function if the element equals to the element you are looking for...

Re: TM1 WEB export comments
An annotation cube is created upon application deployment where cell comments are stored. The cube structure is similar to 'base' cube but a comment dimension is added. Just create an active form to pull data from respective annotation cubes. I hope this helps you further. You need to do more invest...

Add those 4 parameters in your process and that's it! The values for parameters are passed from "workflow action" automatically.

Re: How can I input data in consolidate itens?
You can't change the fact that data in TM1 is always stored on leaf elements, never on consolidated elements. However, you can build your model and especially with 10.2. TM1Web so that it looks like the data is stored on consolidated elements. Still you have to bear in mind that data input on consol...
