Hi David!
If you use IIS the answer is yes. On IIS the ISAPI is more efficient than CGI. (more optimized memory usage)

Upgrade from Applix TM1 8.4 to IBM Cognos TM1 10.2
Hi All! Has anyone had any experience about upgrading from Applix TM1 8.4 to IBM Cognos TM1 10.2? Is it quite simple like upgrading from 9.5 to 10.2? (save -> shut down -> uninstall -> install -> run) Is there any known issue? (like for example: 9.5 -> 10.2 - have to change the TM1 Web's xml) Thx a ...

Control cube update by chore
Hi All,
I would like to update the }CellSecurity_XCube by chore.
Unfortunately, the process is failing every time because security reason.
Could I set that the chore runs 'under' my account? or How could I fix this problem?
Thx,
Matya

Re: connected mode - system server not found
Hi, I suggest you to check the server firewall options. Try to open Cognos Insight - Connected at the server machine, and then try to open at a client machine. If it opens properly at the server, I think the reason of the error is the server firewall. Try to disable the firewall (domain firewall) at...

Re: FEEDERS problem
Hi dilip, You use an leaf level rule (=:N), so the consoledated value is not coming from the source cube, it is calculated in the target cube. I can't see the if condition. Where did you write the feeders? If you use a db function at a target cube, you have to write the feeders at the source cube. B...

Re: TM1 connect to a Cognos package
Hi,
We use lot of custom query (Package Connector) as TI sources. It works properly. If you don't want to create csv, you could create a BI report too.

Re: Delete rule from cube
Thanks for your answers! I'll try to explain the whole problem: We have a tm1 data server and a few users who would like to use a cube in Cognos Insight. They would like to add calculation element to the cube (for example). I gave admin rights to these users (admin right for the cube and all dimensi...
