Re: 9.5.2 FP3 Perspectives Error PMR 674069 019 866
I did get the two error messages and nothing seemed to be fixing it so far. Tried uninstalling TM1 completely and reinstalling from 9.5.2 base then to FP3 > Failed Tried un-registering libraries, deleting all EXD files, re-registering libraries. Still the same two errors. Then, tried the solution me...

Re: Possessed TM1 Service!
Are you sure someone's not running the TM1 server as an application? If so, you won't see it in the Services list and you won't see it on Task Manager if it's not running under your ID. You may also try looking for the service key in the Registry. If it's still there delete it manually out of the R...

Possessed TM1 Service!
We had 3 tm1 servers running on a single box and decided to disable one of the servers (services) the other day. Weird, thing is when you look at the available servers in Architect it still seems active, but won't let you in. Not succeeding with this approach, we decided to kill the server through C...

Re: Contributor Application Out of Memory Error
Hi Ali, I've experienced a similar problem. In my case, I have two environments, development (using 32bit) and production (64bit). While using Contributor in the development server, from time to time I'll get the Out of Memory error. But once we moved to production, such error never occurs again. S...

Re: Contributor Application Out of Memory Error
We're getting an Application Out of Memory Error while trying to load a Workflow subset to a new application. The subset has 28000 elements, which could explain the error, but when we reduce the number of elements in the subset to reflect about 1000 elements we still get the same error. Any ideas, ...

Thanks for the heads up. In this case these are all informative PDF files that everyone should be able to access, so it worked like a charm.

Re: Creating Hyperlinks to Uploaded Files
Wow Alan, easy! Thanks to our consultant, I found a work around. Instead of loading the files as applications, just create a folder in localhost(inetpub) and upload your files in there. That way you can actually get "Hyperlink" function to work for uploaded files from within Tm1 websheets.

Creating Hyperlinks to Uploaded Files
I've followed this: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/ctm1/v9r4m1/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.swg.im.cognos.tm1_dg_dvlpr.9.4.1.doc/tm1_dg_dvlpr_id5509tm1_dev_ob_CreatingHyperlinkstoUploa.html Unfortunately, I was only able to give hyperlinks to .xls files, but not to .doc or .pdf files. Hyperlink Question
Is there a way to open a websheet from within another websheet using a hyperlink and make sure that it opens the target websheet in a TM1 tab, rather than opening in a new IE page? Hyperlink is as follows: HYPERLINK("http://tm1tst/TM1Web/TM1WebMain.aspx?action=OpenObject&type=Websheet&v...

Re: Embedding Multiple Spreadsheets in HTML for TM1web
Did you publish your custom HTML page as an 'application' ? Otherwise I don't see why you would be trying to use TM1 Web. No, actually I used it as a home page for users by changing the webconfig file. If you are using the TM1 Web URL API correctly, then it is possible to have four websheets in fou...

Embedding Multiple Spreadsheets in HTML for TM1web
I've been trying to embed multiple spreadsheets (3-4) using iframe into an HTML file and view them in a single screen in TM1web. One of and the main reason for trying to do this is the performance issues we're facing while trying to load the data into a single spreadsheet from several cubes in TM1 a...

Any chance someone can put together a demo on how to implement those progress bars in TM1 9.4?
