google is your friend. https://serverfault.com/questions/78557 ... th-cuteftp
If you can't fix it, you still could try winscp.

Just a case of "not officially supported" != "doesn't work"

Re: Feeder for C level calculation

Sorry, maybe title is confusing, what I mean is feeder for Average XYZ at N level to enable right consolidation. Since it is just doing average at C level and no zero suppression required, I really don't think feeder for Average XYZ at N level is not needed. I am aware of making "Average XYZ" the pa...

Feeder for C level calculation

Hi, guys

If I am calculating C level average

Code: Select all

['Average XYZ'] =C: ['ABC'] \ ['EFG'];
and user don't need this average at N level and don't care about the Zero Suppression,
I won't use any feeder for this to gain the max cube performance. ( ['ABC'] , ['EFG'] are all real numbers.)
Is that true?

Re: TM1 instance stuck on restart on StatsBy... cub files

I think there is some conflicting between the two functions. If you use savedataall, it is unnecessary to use CubeSaveData to save all cubes.

Never heard about that before. Did you manually save data before restarting?

Re: Cube Copy TI Process

You don't need to remove year. As long as you get all level 0 elements from year dimension, it still can remain.
But for easier coding, I would like to remove it and make sure your extracting view is suppressing zeros and skip consolidations.

Re: Putting Expand function to a good use

Yes, I agree. This is exactly the way I am doing for all dimension building processes. Another extra thing I add is, the base table with this multi-column table is still useful in DB or DW, which I don't want to change. I created a view with parent-child pair based on the table, which is loaded as s...

Check your service account you are using for TM1. It might be the service account don't have proper privilege compared with the one you run the PS script.

Re: Server Locked after save data process and save data is running for a long time .

You probably can use process explorer to check what process is locking up your files at that time and go from there.

Bat file is kind of clumsy. And I use powershell to wrap TM1RUNTI command. In other powershell file, you can use $LASTEXITCODE to capture what this TM1RUNTI returns.
